How exactly does one get a response?

1. Given a choice between more things added on and existing issues being fixed, I prefer the latter. I would much rather enjoy my existing game than have to deal with new & possibly buggy issues when the old ones are still out in force and mocking my attempts to enjoy the game I paid for.
2. Bioware's fault, Sony's fault, EA's fault, the fault of the Gods of Fate ( Star Child's fault possibly? ) . I have no idea who's at fault when it comes to PS3 owners not having the ability to participate in Operation Weekends. What I do know, however, is that it is not MY fault. Therefore, I see no reason whatsoever why all of these special items cannot be added to a DLC for PS3 users. That's not too much to ask is it? I mean, while we have no idea how long it will be before we can actually participate in the Weekends, can't we at least be given access to all the party prizes we're missing out on? I can only speak for myself, but it would be a consolation... even if we aren't allowed to play with the rest of the kids at the party, at least we could get a surprise bag like they do.
I have no desire to trade in, sell, or otherwise get rid of my PS3 version of ME3. Nor do I wish to buy it for xbox or PC. I bought it on PS3 for a reason - that reason being that I prefer it to the other formats. I simply want it to work as well as it was supposed to when I purchased it.
I'm not here demanding answers, daily updates on business negotiations, or threatening to disavow Bioware products forever. The customer is NOT always right. However, the customer is still a customer, and if he or she can communicate an issue in a calm and civilized manner, I see no reason why a business cannot respond in kind. Even if it's to apologize for the delay and assure me that company is working towards a resolution.
After reading the entire content of this particular board, the only conclusion I've been able to come to is that PS3 owners are being treated like second class citizens. I see a lot of complaints here, some of which affect me, some which don't, but the constant is that I have NOT seen much interaction with Bioware staff. The very few times I have, it's been a short, rushed, and unsatisfying reply that is so vague it's almost completely random.
In summation:
If I buy a car that doesn't run right, the dealership will repair it. ( psst.. that's called a warranty ) . If I buy a TV that acts up within a certain time frame, there's a warranty for that too. Pretty much any product I buy, there is some way or method to fix what's wrong. In over 20 years, I have never once went to a mechanic and been told "we're working on it" and the problem being left at that. Even when it took weeks, I got updates. In that same timeframe, I've never once went into a store with a defective product and been denied a replacement product. Hell, I've even been offered freebies for my inconvenience. What I've not gotten is to be ignored, snubbed, left in the dark, or waved off without explanation like an errant child. Until now. It's quite an odd experience.

Very well said RTalon235. I agree with everything you have said here. I also am sick of people on this board saying we are whiny self entitled brats just because we expect to get the full experience from the same game that we payed for as them. It's not childish to expect equal treatment. If anything a lot of the posters that say "you should have just bought it on XBOX" are the ones coming off that way. Not everyone has (or cares to) own an Xbox 360.
The irony here is that I DO own an xbox. I also own ME 1 & 2 for it. It simply disgusted me that microsoft was making money hand over fist with the DLC. When ME2 came out for the playstation 3, all the DLC was included in the price. I jumped all over it with both feet. I purchased the collector edition on PS3 because quite frankly, even paying for future DLC would come out cheaper than the microsoft version. Nobody mentioned that the bugs wouldn't be fixed in a timely manner, the multiplayer bugs would be even worse, and that the PS3 version would be excluded from community events for the forseeable future. *shrug*
Had Bioware/EA said THAT, I would have been able to justify the extra expense of microsoft DLC and of course the LIVE subscription.

BIOWARE doesn't care about the PS3 community. Microsoft payed them off to keep the multiplayer alive and kicking for their consumers. Yet I spent 80 bucks so I couldn't be part of the N7 challenge weekends?

while I agree there is lack of information from sony, but in my opinion its not their job to keep us updated, bioware should be saying "its going well ps3 players, we will update you soon" How can sony tell us whats going on where they don't own this forum, just saying

"It is not us ignoring you. Sony is not allowing you to take part. I suggest you speak with Sony."
And yet they don't respond to our threads and it's near impossible to get a response to a PM. I have no idea what kind of messed up customer service strategy these guys have thought up but it essentially involves treating us as if we don't matter or even exist.
PS3 USERS DESERVE AN EXPLANATION!!!
