To many of you who think Me3 is a bad game.

You go to a car shop. Dealer promises to you that the mesarati is the fastest and smoothest car in the showroom. So you decided to buy the car based on the dealer's persuasion. Once you got the car, you turn it on and it moves freaking fast... then slows to a crawl. And it does that everytime. That is a bad car that you paid for.
If you, however, already planned to buy a cheap car which you know might need repairs, then any problems arising will be within your expectations, and you won't feel it is bad because that is what you paid for.
If your expectations far exceeds the actual performance of the product, it is a bad game.

For a AAA title, ME3 and DA2 are bad games. If I can't even get a second play through because I'm so revolted, it's bad.
If the kid with Down Syndrome runs a 30 second 100 meter dash, we applaud because it falls within our expectations. If Usain Bolt runs a 30 second 100 meter dash, we boo because of the epic fail that represents relative to his past performance. ME3 collapsed at the finish line and did not complete the race. Hence the outrage.
You lack perspective, ME 3 is not DA 2.

I was promised in the reviews for ME2 deep character developments and a compelling storyline, but my own love for the franchise and expectations from ME1 really mis-prepared me. The story was really fun even if it didn't all make sense--I just needed some perspective to see that. With that said, that doesn't excuse ME3's plot problems or ME2's plot problems. However I've seen some people who haven't played before decide not to play ME3 solely on the word of people who say the game sucks, and that disappoints me. There are a lot of great organic moments that are worth going through, even with the infuriating ending.
On another tangent, some people have been using the "we weren't given what we were promised" argument. I've been trying to get a sense of a relationship between the developer and the publisher. When EA bought bioware, they probably also bought the IP rights of Mass effect and the right to advertise for it. It can be hard to communicate between the publishers and developers. I've been wondering if bioware even had the ability to advertise the game according to their standards. I mean look at Dead Space 2 and the commercials for that. I'm pretty sure the developers for that game did not want to advertise their game(meant for 30 year olds) to prepubescent boys. I don't personally know a lot about what happens behind the scenes in development/publishing between bioware and EA, so my words should be taken with a grain of salt. However and unfortunately one thing seems pretty clear: we don't have enough data to know what exactly happened behind the scenes.

I've never felt or characters like I did in mass effect 3, that alone makes me love it and that alone is what drives me to support Bioware and their extended cut.

Listen. I'll say this one more time, because you apparently missed it the first time.
Stuff SAID, NOT officially written down by employees before the game is released, is SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THis applies to ANY industry.
Honestly, how gullible can you be? "But... but... they said the game would do this, this and this." AND?
Molyneux has been blowing his games out of proportion for years, and over time, people learned to not listen to industry hype and judge for themselves when the game comes out, with no preconceptions.
And despite all this, you think Bioware is gonna remark on the not-so-great aspects of their upcoming game instead of focusing on the cool bits, maybe blowing them out of proportion a bit? Hell no. They are a business like any other, despite what the old Baldur's Gate fans will tell you. 'Back in my day, Bioware didn't care at all about profits and existed only to satisfy their fans!' Oh, please. Grow up.
Moral of this story: You wanna learn about how good a game is? Here's a thought, don't listen to the company making it.

The best thing ME3 has going for it is the writing of the Rannoch / Tuchanka stuff (and sue me, I really liked Thessia a lot too - really depressing stuff, and it should've been the LOW point of the game).
Beyond that the combat is terrific. Smooth, addicting and fun.
But there's so much wrong with the game from glitches, to awful side fetch quests and auto-dialogue that it really sets itself apart from 1 and 2.
Just as the people who hate the ending have implied that the entire game is irredeemable, those who claim it to be a "perfect 10" are also drinking the hyperbole kool aid.
