So on a hunch, after seeing a thread locked because the topic was not specifically about support, I decided to throw this bone out and see who comes sniffing.

For a while now, I've heard ( and seen ) , BW staff pointing the "it's their fault" finger of DOOM directly at Sony for PS3 owners not being allowed to partake in the fun and freebies that are the Operational Weekends.

.... but that is all.

So with that in mind, allow me to throw down the metaphysical gauntlet here.

*deep breath*

If Sony Corp is entirely and totally to blame for PS 3 owners NOT being given the same privledges as PC & xbox users, would any of the BW staff, being much smarter and more civilized than us poor gamers, be so kind as to give us a name? Perhaps a number? An address? ANYTHING?

Has it not occured to anyone at BW, or EA in general, that if one could prove fault, or even corporate stalling... then the very same fans that are immensely frustrated with you would turn their attentions ( and rightly so ) on the Sony Empire? That instead of PS 3 owners lamenting why BW hasn't acted, turn that frustration and outrage against the true culprits? All these petitions, complaints, FCC complaints, etc would be focused on Sony, leaving BW and Company to get back to what they do best, and that being creating games that matter to us the gamers so much that we willingly sacrifice our time and attention just to voice our opinions on them.

Honestly, that's all I need. Prove to me that Sony is the reason my game isn't everything it's supposed to be, and I would happily post, text, email, snail mail, call, and every other means at my disposal to let Sony know how seriously pissed a lot of people are.

Give me a name. A phone number that's not a robotic answering machine. Hell, I'd settle for a department that I can point the Finger of DOOM at myself. Direct the rage so it can encompass those actually at fault.

Please.

That's not something any developer would do. They best we can do is keep talking here, and on Sony's forums.

I respectfully disagree. In government and business, there is a rule of thumb that always rings true:

"If you go high enough, you'll find one person at the top."

Somewhere at Sony or any other company, there's a person sitting behind a desk that has the power to make everything right with a single memo. In the military, we called it the chain of command. In business, we call it issue escalation. In either case, someone at BW knows the section, division, or whatever else it happens to be called, and they know who runs it. My theory is that if matters enough, then it only makes sense to hand over the name. Hell, everything about this game was leaked at one point or another. I don't know who did it, nor do I care... I'd just really like the name of the man or woman that can fix this so instead of playing the "post here, there, and everywhere" game, my attention can be focused on that individual or section.

Quite literally, we've been dealing with people at Sony that aren't authorized to tell you if it's raining outside when you're standing in front of them and they are clearly soaking wet.

Well said. All the emails sent to Sony come back saying we understand your frustration, bu can't comment on anything.
