Should Dragon Age 3 be open-world?

I'd like an MMO rather than an open world game, but not for DAIII, but for future projects.

I never played those, but I did play Fable II. Is that another example of what you mean by limited open world? Because, for me though Fable II was a little shallow as far as character building and decision making, it was a shinig example of enviornment building if you ask me.

Big, beautiful, open, vairied, and variable enviornments filled to overflowing with life and things to do. I've said it before and I'll say it again, call it cutsey and simplistic if you will, but Fable II is not a bad source to crib in terms of how a fantasy world should be set up for a videogame.

No thanks. With open worlds like Skyrim, story tends to take a backseat, and with a story/character driven game like DA, it just doesnt mesh well.
