It's okay, the claymore isn't as awesome as falcon punching a phantom's head off.

Batarians: The Punches of Space. The punchmaster approves of Batarian melee specialists.

First, they get Damage Reduction during Heavy Melee, that seems to be at about 75%.  Completely goddamn nuts.  This heavy melee is also the most powerful heavy melee in the game, and has the highest potential damage of any single attack in the game (Outside of a Cobra Rocket).

Second, they Run faster than base humans, making them the fastest class after the Drell in the game.  (It's true, test it out if ya don't believe meh!).  Why do they run so fast?  Because they don't give **** about you slow ass humans, and just want to punch more things!

When they aren't punching things, they are making things explode.  They get three kinds, Regular bloody explosions, Electrical explosions, and Biotic explosions.

They have two sets of eyes.  The only reason they have them, is so they can put on two sets of sunglasses while they walk away from the said explosions.

Don't, **** with Batarians.

Batarians... great until they get staggered....

Well, at least they have a lot of health, and DR...

But yeah.  Geth Stun locks.  The bane of everybody ever.

Well crap.. I just realized. Batarians don't get 335% max.. They get 310%
max.. That extra 25%.. IS A MULTIPLE FROM BLADE ATACHMENTS!

MEANING IN A SINGLE PUNCH BATARIANS CAN DO A WHOPING! 5125 damage!

Yes, it will out damage the goddamn Claymore.

I timed it at 2.3 seconds.  I'd give it a margin of error at around .2 seconds, but 2.3 seems to be correct.

Don't get me wrong, I like the badass Batarians. But certain targets (yes I'm looking at you Nemesis slippery eels) have a knack for dodging that fist of fury unless you can get them in a corner or something. Wish the speed was slightly faster but I can live with it because once it does connect...crush,

Two Batarians and two Krogan make such an epic team. Batarian Soldier specc'd for shields/weapon damage is my new favorite class in the game.

Only if you don't catch them properly. The AI is apparently kind enough to let most standard enemies stand in place while you punch their head off, which makes Ballistic Blades ridiculously useful to make sure they stay there.

Kind of like how the target of a Biotic Charge has a tendency to stand still, come to think of it.

Actually, funny enough, Not only will the AI wait for us,  we will actually follow them. It's heat seeking, and will hit enemies out of the map.  Try this, have somebody lift and throw a PHantom, while you charge a punch out of the map.  You'll see it's head explode, and get credit for it, even though you were a mile away. Although , if we don't lock on, it's almost impossible to hit them (Every once in awhile, a Centurian will literally walk into my fist when I missed).

Usually, if you hold down the button while you're targeting an enemy (orange thingies around them, see their health/shields/armor/barrier meter), the game will make them hold still while your punch charges up, or will make you auto-follow them if it doesn't make them stop moving.
As for the times went it doesn't though, you're right, you're a sitting duck  XD

Thank god you get the extra 75% damage reduction while you're standing there.

I love the batarian soldier. He wakes up every morning and eats a bowl of Phantom-O's. Then it's off to work. Ballistic Blades for EVERYONE!
