!Understand the topic as you see fit. Is it some cruel choice you made in a modern cRPG? Did you perhaps grief some other player in some exceptionally cruel fashion in World of Warcraft? So severly you have been unable to get a good night's sleep since? Something else?
As a wee lad, I used to run an extremely simple and efficient gambling scam in an MMORPG named Ultima Online. My brilliant scheme had to do with playing fair til you lose, then disappearing into the crowd with my customers hard earned gold. Needless to say, entire gambling scene of this game was ifnested with scammers due to ease it involves to pull one off. Thusly not many trusted any "player casinos" as they were called. So you had to build trust. I evolved quite good in this art, discovering ways to add depth to my fake persona in order to make him look like a seasoned, trusted and legit gambler. I'd learn to be patient, occasionally taking hits several millions worth just building trust and waiting for that big fish. Good times!
In Crusader Kings I, I played as King of Denmark. I noticed my son would inherit Normandy if Count of Normandy were to die without leaving a male heir. Assassinating the count or his wife proved impossible. However, his children were easier to reach. I spend 20 years murdering his children as they are born. Eventually count gets " depressed" debuff and commits suicide. My son gets Normandy. Happy ending:)

Is it possible to do something that makes the player feel genuinely evil in video games? I wager in single player games everybody finds this impossible? Multiplayer games, namely MMOs offer plenty of opportunities to stuff that tests all kinds of boundaries though. Crashing funeral ceremonies and ruining lives of Eve Online players and whatnot!
