 Do Darkspawn defecate? I mean do they have a similar biological makeup as living entities. I assume since they're most likely closer to being un-dead it seems less likely... they need to go number 2 .

As far as I know I don't believe they eat. I recall in The Calling that Bregan notes the darkspawn seem unlikely to need things like kitchens and the like. And as he progresses further in his own Calling, he feels less and less like eating, and muses that the taint itself may sustain the darkspawn.

Archdemons may be subject to these sorts of things, but IIRC I don't think regular darkspawn do.

Darkspawn do not eat, the taint sustains them. So since they don't eat, I don't think they need to use the bathroom.

They don't need to eat. The taint sustains them, meaning they can live forever. They eat for reasons other then dietary.

They do however ****** and **** all over the place, because Isabela ended up stepping in some of it in Fool's Gold.

I speculate the Mother eats human beings to help with its' reproductive process. If the taint sustains the Darkspawn what is the purpose of consuming biological material if its completely superfluous. Surely all the processed biological material is processed in different ways. Also wouldn't be redundant for Darkspawn to have anuses if they don't use them lol. Didn't Hespith also mention that in her creepy soliloquy, how some of Branka's party was used as meat.

You're absolutely right   Argh, I had forgotten this part!   It kind of goes back and forth on this point...

The Mother's a broodmother -- who are really just female Ghouls -- not a Darkspawn.

Gaider has said the Taint sustains Darkspawn. Given that the Calling suggests it does the same for ghouls with that one Warden, then if they eat anything it has nothing to do with needing to do so.

It's just because they can.
