Your point could not be more incorrect. A week or so after the game's release there was a poll on the forums about the ending. 3 choices: A. You hated it and think it should be re-done. B. You thought it was ok, but it needed clarification. or C. You thought it was fine.

1) Nobody in the pro-ending thread (myself included) thinks the endings are adequate as-is. All of us are eagerly anticipating Extended Cut. What separates you and me, is that I think the current endings can work with some explanation, while you want them thrown out completely.

2) Thank you for proving my point: 54,000 out of over 2 million is less than 5%.

1. I never said I want them thrown out completely. Getting butthurt? IT does not imply that.

2. Are you an idiot? You obviously have no understanding of how polls work. You do not need the entire population to conduct a poll. That is a laughable argument. lolwut

It wouldn't matter if it was 2 million who voted. You would still have roughly 92% of the fanbase hating it.

So fine, if you want to say 2 million, then that would mean 1,840,000 people didn't like the ending. Simple math.

1) In what way is "the endings are all dreams! Also, two of them are you losing the game" not "throwing them out?"

2) You need a representative sample to conduct a meaningful poll. The people like you that run to the forums to cry are only representative of yourselves.

And again, I didn't like the endings either. But I don't need some wild theory where they didn't happen to accept them, not when there's clarification DLC coming out.

1. Evidence you know nothing about the IT.

2. Evidence you know nothing about polling. Once again. What is more representive of a community than its forums?

1) Which part is wrong? The dream, or the "two endings = indoctrination?"

2) Evidence you know nothing about forums. There is a higher proportion of complainers here because this is the best place to do it.

1. No, it not a "It all a dream", It's a "it's all a trick." Also, it doesn't mean game over if you pick one ending. It would mean you would end the game as a reaper agent it you pick the otther two and get the more dramatic ending.

2. But if everyone come a cryies over the ending...That would mean the ending is bad....Their is not one place now where the majority are prothe ending. Ever place is hating the ending. THe hateof theend has become it's oun meme.

1) Semantics.

2) But how many will be satisfied with EC? We won't know until it is released, obviously.

1. Find out yourself. Do research on your own. Imagine that!

2. Wow... let me explain. Just because most people on the forums hate the ending does not mean that they ALL come to the forums to complain. What if... what if... maybe its just the fact that most of the community actually DOES hate the ending? I mean... its not as if whole campaigns were started and boycotts erupted against Bioware.

You're basically saying that 92% of the people on forums are only hear to complain about the ending. So that would mean that 92% didn't exist here before ME3. Right. Bad logic is bad, my friend. You're in denial.

I have no problem if you are a 'pro ender'. What I do have a problem with is spreading false information when you have no facts to back it up. I can show you the poll, though you still wouldn't care.

1. I did, and you have no rebuttal to my conclusion.

2. "Most people don't like the endings" != "Most people like IT."

1. My rebuttle is that if you actually understood the IT you would not pose that question. *sigh*

2. No one ever said that. Once again, trolling at your best.

For everyone's reference the independently confirmed number is 3.25 million. Last week alone over 90 000 people bought the game. Obviously they didn't do so because they thought it sucked.

Maybe because they haven't played it yet to see the ending. Game didn't suck. Just the end.

Did you take into account that they may have no idea what the endings are?
Or that they may not give a damn about the story at all, and have no opinion on it?

You see, ME isn't the center of the Universe for a lot of people, and someone casually walking past may see the game and say "Hrrm. That looks interesting, I'll buy it!", then get to the ending and be disappointed.

The truth of the matter is - we have no idea whether the majority of users of this software liked or did not like the endings. Of users polled, most did not like the endings.

The statement of '54,000 out of 2 million is less than 5%' can be easily countered with a '200 out of 2 million is less that point one percent', seeing as we are working of known supporters for each side.

There is no knowledge of whether the majority like or do not like the endings, and seriously everyone needs to give this a rest already.

You said that because people don't like the ending they like the IT. That is NOT what I said. From my observation, various polls, and other forms of data, it seems that the majority does favor the IT as an alternate choice to the ending. Different from saying most people who didn't like the ending like the IT. I am speaking in a broader sense. There are some people who liked the ending and love the IT. Just because you like the IT does not mean you hate the ending. I think the ending was fine if the IT is true.

Kinda like your sig complains about complainers, and you came on this thread to complain. Love it.

If IT is true it means that there IS no ending, because none of what we saw as "endings" are then to be taken at face value.

It's an interesting theory but I doubt a "majority of fans" prefer an incomplete game to one that merely needs clarification.

What's your point? That they heard about the ending and still bought it? Yeah, so? The game is brilliant. Good for them. Or are you saying they didn't hear about the ending? I'm sure they don't care because they haven't experienced it themselves. You're implying that they know about the ending and yet still bought it. Your point? It means they want to play the game. They didn't buy the game for the 10 minute ending.

Your welcome. Any time you attack an entire fanbase you can expect to not make many friends. Especially when the fanbase has a very legit reason for being upset.

Yes. They would not be the actual endings. None of us will know until the EC. I don't see how you can clarify a mess. That's what the ending was. The ending would have to be retconned to make any sense, or the IT applied. I see no forseable way to clarify the many plotholes they have unless the plotholes were meant to be there, and be explained at a later date. Implying IT.

I don't know, we'll see. But the ending as it is is not good. By hardly any means. However, I will not say something cannot be done. Bioware might have a genius way of explaining the endings without the IT. But they would also have to explain the numerous references to indoctrination throughout the game. Why all the hints, if they don't matter at the end.

As said Earlier, ME is not the center of the Universe. My parents would have no idea what the ending is, nor that any outrage about it exists. Nor would the majority of people I know, even those who play games.

Believe it or not, the biggest outcry in gaming history was not heard by anyone and everyone, and of those who did hear about it, even less likely cared enough about it to take note, or remember it.

There are a lot of people who would have no idea about the endings. Simply because they generally DGAF about gaming journalism doesn't mean they live in a cave.
