 Hi,

I'm new to the forum, though I've been playing the Multiplayer for awhile.

Are there any FAQs detailing how the multiplayer works? Specifically, trying to understand how to increase the "level" of each "item" from the Manifest, such as:

1. How to increase the "level" of any Weapon, Mod, etc.

2. What does the "level" of a Character refer to? How to increase these levels?

Or even a post/thread for tips on maximizing these assets.

Thanks in advance!

Weapon mods and weapons are found randomly in equipment packs you can buy at the store for credits. Different weapons have different rarity: common - uncommon - rare - ultrarare. Every time you get a weapon in the pack it increases its level by +1. When weapon reaches X/mod reaches V, you stop getting it in packs.

Character level in manifest is just how many different custom look option you have for this character. When you get character for the first time, you just get acces to them and can change primary color/highlight color. Second time is exp boost (if you're not at 20 already) and secondary color, third time is exp boost + pattern style/color, fourth time is lights color/exp boost and fifts is skin color (not all characters have this option) and exp boost. Sixth + time is wasted, unless you're not 20, then you get little xp.

Thanks! This is of huge help!

I was wondering - since I kept getting Assault Rifle Magazine Upgrade I over and over again from the packs - if it was actually strengthening what I already had.

Yep, its like in single player - lvl I adds less magazine capacity than lvl II and so on. Items you get in packs are never wasted - weapons and mods will get better, consumables are, well, consumables (unless you're at the limit but its high, like 250 or so). The one exception are character cards - if you have all visual customization options unlocked on this particular race/class combination, you can still get its card from a pack, and when below lvl 20 you will only get xp boost, and if you're at 20 already, you will get completely nothing at all, effectively making this card wasted. In multiplayers forums there is plenty of threads asking Bioware to change this, but so far it has no effect.
