Yes please. Turians are supposed to be speedy according to the codex, so why are the MP turians so clunky?

150 more base shields than a Salarian or Quarian doesn't justify such horrible mobility. And it's not like the Turians are even particularly offensively powerful, either. I could understand if they had the level of power we see in Infiltrators or the Asari & Drell Adept, but they're not even as offensively capable as the Human Soldier, who can not only roll, but his source of weapon damage bonus also frequently restores his own shields, insta-reloads his weapon and applies damage reduction, making him more survivable than the Turian Soldier in addition to being more powerful & more manuevreable.

I understand that implementing a dodge for the Turian would take a patch, if not straight-up DLC to implement. But there's absolutely no reason they can't temporarily increase his base shields to 1,000 for the time being. That would at least balance him with the Batarian's sturdiness while allowing him to remain unique; the Batarians have 750 health and 750 shields. Turians should have 500 health and 1,000 shields.

Lol, I'm feeling like watching Animal Planet, peeking the Turians in their natural habitat. They roll when you're not looking.

Sunday, June 10th, 2186 CE:

Turian medical researchers are showing increased interest in treating the remarkably pervasive genetic defect found in the majority of Turians, a joint disorder which is very similar to Human hip dysplasia. An inability to process a key protein in their dextro-amino diet leads to a build-up of plaques which cause abnormal joint stiffness. The effects are not permanent, but they are nearly unavoidable due to a lack of treatment options. Though not a natural part of Turian physiology, it is a dominant trait which is present in more than 90% of the population, resulting in somewhat limited leg mobility. Up until recently, it did not recieve much attention, because it does not hinder day to day living, as walking and even running speed and comfort are not influenced by the defect.

However, recent cross-comparison with Human military drills have revealed a remarkably limited ability to quickly roll, or even jump, in the heat of battle. Embarrassed that the majority of the most highly trained military force in the galaxy suffers a distinct lack of close-quarters-combat mobility, high ranking officials in the Turian Hierarchy are funding research into the treatment of this disorder, with hopes of improving their ability to maneuver in dangerous combat situations.

Human military officials applauded the continuing cooperation which the Turian and Human military has been engaged in for the last few years, which includes sharing of military procedure and formations. However, an anonymous officer was reportedly surprised by the news, saying "I just thought they all had sticks up their asses."

CURE TURIAN HIP DYSPLASIA!

Damn, now BioWare can't use that as grounds for fixing this, ahem, oversight.

Should have added something about cover being a temporary cure for this "hip dysplasia".;)

I too would love to see dodging for the Turian classes, Turian Soldier is my favourite soldier class and a dodge to go with that sweet Heavy melee would be badass.

I love turian soldier. The mechanics of marksman can be used to great effect with so many different weapons ( i personally like shotguns). The mobility takes a lot of getting used to.

I like the Turian Soldier a lot, don't get me wrong but the lack of mobility is crippling sometimes and really is unjustified.

Its even worse when Geth stun-lock the crap out of you. Batarians and Krogan have the same problem sadly.

Yeah turians aren't even meaty enough to not have a roll.. my turian soldier gets creamed so fast. Batarians and krogan at least have faster storm speeds so i don't even mind it, more importantly, they can soak a few hits. Turian is slow, immobile, fragile :/ /signed for turian roll!

If you can't roll, you should be immune to stagger/instakills.

This needs to be implemented. We'd actually see Krogan/Turians/Batarians on gold.

Guys please stop forgetting when comparing turians to batarians/krogan... Both have increased run speed while turians don't. Also don't forget that turians are almost as squishy as any other non-meaty class (soldier at least)

Agreed but Krogans also need some help in the mobility category if they are going to be even a decent class and possibly Batarians as well.

Batarians? I don't play them much. Korgans? Their mobility is fine, they just need stagger immunity.

Turians? They need mobility.
