I'm still in the middle of playing it at the moment, but so far so good. It's also recieved some decent reviews.

On a side note I've thought for months that Funkcase's avatar was a Thunderbird's character and only just realised its Ashley...

It looks interesting but I'm not convinced that I want to spend money on it. Does it actually feel like a horror?

Slightly, it's more horror than any other zombie games I can think of, but it does deal with the old zombie movie cleches. It's got a pretty compelling story and characters (the voicework is pretty good too) but it isn't a very long game sadly (it's only episode 1 so far though, there will be more) but it was pretty cheap so worth it considering eveything else I would say.
Characters take note of things you say, your loyalty to them, if you've lied about something and what not, I think this will all have consequences in future episodes. It's a point and click pretty much, but it's a storytelling game more than anything.

If you don't play games for the challenge and just enjoy a really character-based story with lots of decision making, it's definitely worth a shot.

But, making these decisions may not be as easy as you may think, because sometimes you have to make snap choices. Yep, time limits on your actions and responses. And a few times, I thought, whoops, don't think I should have said/did that. Characters remember, so be careful.
I definitely suggest trying the demo. You should know pretty quick if it's your thing or not. I'm looking forward to episode 2.

First episode was awesome. Looking forward to the others, and hoping that they maintain the same level of tension and suspense.
Edit: Iwould also add that the game may be better for those who interested in story, as opposed to gameplay.. as it plays mostly as a point and click, i.e. there's nothing innovative about the gameplay.

XBL has a free demo available as April 27th. I think I'll try it out. I like the TV series alot. As a sidenote, the main protagonist (Lee Everett) is voiced by Dave Fennoy who also voiced Jacob Taylor's father and Warlord Okear in ME2
THANK YOU. I kept having a nagging feeling that the voice sounded so familiar, but couldn't place it.

Just finished also. I was worried about having a kid along since they don't seem to be done well in games, but Clementine is good company.
This. Clementine is one of the very, very few childs in a game, that feels genuine. She's brave and smart. I like her. Duck, on the other hand, is another matter...
All in all it's an amazing game, I had very low expectations, but after it got a lot of praise I caved in and bought it. Now it's the long wait for episode 2.

Quite - as a massively huge TWD fan, I immediately picked it up and loved it. I thought it really captured the spirit of TWD and found it quite enjoyable. I saw the preview of the second episode, and I can't wait for it! I think there's actually some replay value too because there are major choices that seem like they will affect things down the road. I'm interested in seeing how they play out differently (especially one particular life & death situation).

Im quite obsessed with TWD too (though only for half a year so far). I will definitely do more playthroughs, maybe as a total d!ck or just saving different people... loved seeing familiar faces in it too.
