Its perfectly acceptable to not see the big deal about The Walking Dead. Just as long as you don't go around this forum where everyone can read you screaming about it sucking, which I've noticed a few people doing about Skyrim and other popular and well received games that have been released somewhat recently.

Anywho, back to The Walking Dead-

My dad for years has told me that one day he'd be ecstatic if I adopted a child. Not just have my own Princes and Princesses running around, but you know, an adopted kid.

I was always uncomfortable with the thought, as I felt that adopted kid would think of himself as a bastard, not royal blooded, inferior, etc etc, and I wouldn't want to raise a kid to think that way.

But after Clementine, pfft. I'd adopt an army of real life Clementines.

Just played all episodes over the past week. Loved it. So many tense moments. I think I stopped breathing for a few seconds when Lee and Clem were walking through the horde in Ep 5.

I ended up choosing Carley because she had a gun and had already demonstrated that she was capable with it. I thought that she'd be a greater loss than Doug, and I was hoping that she'd might be able to save him before he got yanked out the window.

Doug is a poorly written character.

Doug's a techie, that's why I saved him. Learning how to shoot a gun is no big deal. Carley does have the advantage of knowing Lee's story so it adds a little tension.

I'll also say Doug acted much better in the Lily situation in that he acted reasonable rather than hostile.

I didn't really like Episode 3. It made your choices meaningless, had pacing issues, and you could tell Telltale killed off characters due to lack of resources. Then later we are introduced to new unlikable characters.

I saved Carley too. She seemed pretty capable and level headed.
I liked the relationship between her and Lee and was completely taken by surprise when Lilly snapped and shot her. I swore so, so loudly. Ended up leaving her on the side of the road.

Was as well deeply mad at Lilly over that scene. Though I still felt sentimental and actually liked Lilly, so I took her aboard.

Of course, she--naturally--went and did that trick of hers. B*tch.
