Its like most of the interesting stuff comes from the character interactions and they just killed off or had most everyone leave. I wish they waited at least until episode 4 to blow everything up. Now its sort of starting from scratch with the new people and I don't really give a damn about them.

I saved Doug, and was pretty sorry to see him go. He was a nice guy.
The moment where I found Omid and Christa endearing was when she says (about Omid) "who's into Civil War history anyway?!" and Lee sheepishly raises his hand. Very funny. It's amazing the emotional content they can put into comic-drawn animations.

Anyway if Lilly does show up again, it would have to been after the Prison arc from the comic. So going off the timeline, is the game going to have another time-skip?

I know man.....she was my favorite character. I want to try to avoid spoilers for those that haven't played Episode 3 yet but I would've totally killed you know who myself if I had the chance. On a side note I think that Ep3 was incredible. I've spent 60$ on games that I've liked half as much as The Walking Dead.

Doug was cool. But I liked Carley more- I think she had more to do, telling Lee to be honest with people about his past at the motel, kind of getting a hint of some sort of romance there between them and her just being generally not crazy and easy for Lee to talk to. And then Lilly gets angry and just shoots her in the head while her back is turned. It wasn't even an accident aiming for Ben like what happens with Doug. Really wished they at least had different deaths.
I just wish they saved Carley/Doug for at least a couple more episodes. I just feel like they killed off too many people in this episode and didn't do much to develop the new people. So I don't really care about anybody but Clem and Kenny now. And I'm guessing Clem and Lee have plot armor at least until episode 5, so I'm not exactly hanging in suspense over who might die in episode 4. I don't really care.
Like at the end of episode 3, I really didn't care who I tried to save between Omid or Christa since I barely had any interaction with them at all, so that whole thing just sort of fell flat- I think I pulled Christa in only because the cursor started out there. Which is totally unlike the Doug/Carly choice from episode 1 which is basically the same sort of setup but handled far better, IMO.

That was good. I also actually liked Duck in the beginning. The popup after you high five him was great "Duck thinks you are incredibly awesome!" But then again those popups are totally misleading, since about a minute or 2 prior to Carly getting killed, you have one popup say "Carly will remember that." Nope she'll be dead.

Couldn't agree more.
The worst part was that I mostly supported Lilly up to that point. Now, if we ever meet Lilly again in the future, assuming we are still playing as Lee (with season 2 confirmed and all), I don't think I could ever forgive her for that.
I honestly think that was the first time my jaw has dropped playing a video game or watching a movie or whatnot. I was actually angry (and thinking RELOAD RELOAD in vain). Gotta give it to Telltale.

I think I could forgive Lilly, after all she did kill one of the biggest a-holes I have ever seen in a comic book.
Haha no kidding. Playing from Lee's perspective though, I couldn't.
I really hope they include that part of the comic book in the tv show.

What I see as a point of good storytelling (yes I'm angry. That's how it's supposed to be in that moment) is actually the reason why the TTG forum is one big ragestorm at the moment. How can they dare to kill of the possible romance?!

While I'm sure some people JUST wanted to bone Carley, I think it's OK to complain about the lack of consequences considering that everything you do kinda ends up not mattering in episode 3.
Still, don't get me wrong, I liked the episode and I like the game.

Sucks man. She was by far my favourite character. No way i was letting that unstable **** back on the RV.
And i have to say, one of my favourite moments in this episode was the discussion with Kenny, and delving into his deep regret for what happened with Shawn.

Just looking at the fan opinions of him is interesting. I mean people liked him episode 1, then hated him in episode 2 and now everyone feels sorry for him in this episode. Makes me wonder what the future opinions of him will be like.

Just sucks to have Carley dead since I felt they could have done more with her character. As opposed to Ben, who is pretty boring and the new people didn't have much time to do much of anything or make any strong impressions.
My problem with the consequences angle is that at the end of episode 3, everyone's save game is pretty much the same unless they start bringing in choices from earlier episodes. Everyone has Kenny, Clem, Christa, Omid and Chuck. Compared to the first 2 episodes I didn't feel like there were that many choices that felt very big and important in the moment. There weren't many choices that made me really stop and think about possible long term ramifications.

I'm really pissed off that we couldn't save Doug or Carley in episode 3. I liked Lilly but she went too far. I know what she's doing in the comics too, but I really wanted to see more of Doug/Carley. Choices don't really matter anymore, it seems. I feel bad for Kenny, I personally think he'll die on next episode along one of the new characters.

As for what Kenny has as a reason to go on? I don't know but this is The Walking Dead so he is going to die a horrible death sooner or later.
