How long, approx, does it take to beat each episode?

Not very long at all. The first one is probably like an hour to an hour and a half.  The second one probably about 2-3 hours. The third one is probably about 2-3 hours too. The fourth one felt a bit longer then the others, at least to me, so I'd probably say about 3 to 3 and half hours.

Edit: It has been a long time since I've played the earlier episodes so those might be a little off but they're probably pretty close.

Cheers. Any word on how many episodes total? 6?
Appologies for noobish questions. I just don't want to know too much about gameplay itself before testing it so staying away from FAQs and suches.

Five episodes total for "season 1". Next year, they'll be making at least five more for "season 2".

Honestly the lengths changes. Episode 1 and 2 were short. Episode 3 was a bit longer and Episode 4 has so far been the longest, taking me 3-4 hours to complete. That's a good length for something worth 800MS.

Episode 4 was good but I thought it was the weakest of all. Crawford turned out to be be a sorta disappointing reveal given all the build-up, too many puzzles and too much backtracking. Though it's not necessarily that which makes it bad, it's also the episode with the least human deaths that occur.

Were a lot of cool moments for Lee though, and pwning Molly was pretty awesome. Also this is purely based on personal preference and I don't consider it a 'flaw' or anything, but Lee was the one and only character I really, really wanted to see survive. Would've been OK with any and all other character deaths, but would've preferred to see the player character live... and now I'm almost certain he won't.

If they give me Ninja Molly as the protagonist for Season 2 I will forgive them for killing off Lee.

I think we all knew deep down Lee would die. But i agree, he was very likeable, it was nice seeing a calm Black guy who isn't on steroids and sprouting the F bomb every few seconds.

Yeah, i'm liking it so far although my interest died down a bit in ep3 when they killed off the majority of the characters I liked. Now i'm stuck with Christa and Omid because Kenny apparently hates me and Ben didn't want to go.

Managed to get everyone with me in the end.
Even Kenny , I drop the family line and he joins.
But he's kind of an ass , it's not about Lee , it's about a little girl in danger ...
So when he starts arguing , my jaw dropped a bit .
But well , It's Kenny .

I still have Ben , I'm not pissed at him .He's a stupid kid in a very cruel world . Mistakes are a death sentence , I think it's not a lesson easy to learn.
He annoys me too , he's got a bit of a drama queen/martyr vibe going on.

Now I just hope I haven't send everyone to their death..well I'm pretty sure some will die.

I'm a bit scared about the end , the talky walky thing is weird at best.
Some unknown guy kidnapping Clementine ... the fact that the guy was in Savannah , that he shows interest in Lee...
All those coincidences.
It makes little sense.Lee has nothing , no food , no special shelter (money doesn't matter anymore) to exchange.

I guess the guy is a very bored psycho or something...we 'll see just how bad everything will end.

Anyone has their saves ruined? Because of episode 4, I lose my use of my recent save and every time i choose a chapter for my latest save, it reverts me to Episode 1 and every other episode says if i want randomized previous choices.

Then when I go back to my saves, it's on my second save!

And everytime i start, I always have that option popping up if I want minimal or maximum hud help.

Looking at Telltale's twitter, Episode 5 is coming very very soon. I'm hoping this week even. It has already gone out to reviewers and some of their twitter reactions after having played episode 5 are great.

Gary Whitta, one of the writers on TWD, posted this on NeoGAF:

I'll tell this thread what I said on PLAYING DEAD this week - when you block out time to play Ep5, set aside some time for after you're done.
