I'm not sure if anybody has said this but ultra rare weapons aren't part of the N7 family.

I started to write down my store statistics some weeks ago, so here are my current numbers:

I bought 98 PSPs and got 11 UR weapons since 1st of August. So my rate is currently 11,22%

My gut feeling is that buying Packs in a streak increases the chance to get an UR.

Before i started writing down my statistics I used to buy PSPs as soon as I had enough credits. And had bad streaks of buying 40 PSPs in a row over the course of many weeks without getting any URs at all.

But whenever I'd buy a lot of PSPs in a row (for example when I had saved credits before a new DLC came out or since I changed my strategy to only buy Packs after all my characters have been promoted back to Lvl. 1 again) I tend to get URs a lot more often.

I don't really buy regular Spectre Packs any more, so I can't help you with those.

Wait, I just checked my old records when I was still writing down the complete content of a Pack. According to those I got
6 UR weapons out of buying 59 PSPs (=10,17%) and
1 UR out of buying 22 SPs (=4,55%).

Those numbers stem mostly from May and the first two weeks of June. I also bought 19 Resurgence Packs back then with an UR return rate of exactly 0 (zero).

I've been tracking my credits since I started buying PSPs, just to get a yardstick on my how much time I've sunk into this game (assuming 100K credits = 50 minutes, between gold lobby hunting and the occasional pre-wave 10 wipe)

I've amassed 75M credits. Incidentally, that's about 625 hours of game time, or 24 hours / week

That said, I bought ~739 PSPs (some SPs, perhaps, initially... but once PSPs were released I've bought those exclusively) before maxxing all my URs

So, personal drop rate = (110 / 739) = 14.9%

This time it was pretty uneven, after 40 PSPs i had 6 URs, and in the last 10 PSPs streak i got Black Widow and Paladin (in one package), Talon and Javelin.

I haven't gotten a UR from a PSP in about a few months now. Thankfully I got my Harrier to level 5 before the store started trolling me. I don't recall how many packs it's been, but it's at least a few dozen (hooray for gold ammo :/ )

Well, five minutes ago I have purchased 120 Sps, 7,2 million credits wasted.2 URs.

I gave up on PSPs one month ago tired of getting only level Iv ammo and to be honest I was pretty happy with the drop rates on SPs for the last couple of weeks ( about 10 Urs every 100 Sps ) but this sucks

Percentages is a frustrating thing. 10% 15% or 20% you'll still be gasping at the same frustration. It's like rolling a die and getting 3 1's in a row when all you want is a 5 or 6 and they don't bloody come up. Played backgammon anyone?

I can confirm that UR do drop from Spectre Packs.  In fact I got most of mine from them.  I upgraded my Javelin by 4 ranks in one freaky night one time, all from SP.  I find that once all your lower tier guns are maxed out, UR starts to creep into SP's

I've been tracking my PSPs for awhile. In 333 PSPs, I've gotten 57 Ultra Rares (~5.84% drop rate). Before I started tracking my packs, the only ultra rare weapons I had were Paladin II and Saber I. Currently 60/110. I'll continue tracking and see if the numbers change much.

You divided the wrong way.

I know I've posted in this thread before, but as a running total update from since I started counting about 5 months ago:
573 Spectre Packs => 45 URs => 7.85% drop-rate
151 Premium SPs => 20 URs => 13.24% drop-rate

Either way, my long term running average is about 1 UR per 750K credits, whether I buy SPs or PSPs.

Jetblackmoon above seems to be averaging 1 UR per 578K credits. I wish my drop rate was that high. If it were, I'd have 20 more UR levels than I have right now, and I'd be a whole lot closer of maxing them all. Currently am at 69/110. I'd much rather be at 89/110. Some people are just lucky, as people have been saying all along, while others of us slog away against unfavorable odds.

That didn't answer the question. You claimed you got 2 UR's in a regular Spectre pack.

If it makes you feel any better Dark, before I started tracking my packs, the three URs that I mentioned I got (Saber I and Paladin II) were the only ones I had around N7 1000. I had horrible luck pretty much until that point. Still missing 15 pieces of gear as well, then I'll only need URs.

A BW dev did confirm that it is possible to receive UR's in Veteran Packs, although very unlikely, and it occurs in the Silver slot.  SP's have one silver and one gold slot, so I guess that by following that logic through, it would be possible to receive two UR's in a single Spectre pack, but by golly the odds would have to be absolutely miniscule.  Still, given the many millions of packs bought by everyone, you'd reckon that at least one or two people might have triggered it.

Not trying to back anyone up, just exploring the possibilities.

My apologies there, I didn't answer the question but yeah, refering to that freaky night, was the time when I had all 4 Javelin upgrade, 1 then another 1 and 2 from one pack from about 1 million creds of SP.
