I think you should also ask if people are buying in bulk, i.e. multiple packs in a very short period of time. Cause I'm noticing a fair few people who are buying a lot of packs in one go getting nothing. Where as people who are buying them as they get enough credits seems to have a much better sucess rate.

Since my last post, I bought 10 PSP packs and got four N7 ultra rares in them.

32 Premium Spec pack ZERO N7 cards nothing but Gold Character cards. FML I swear to god last time I got a N7 weapon was two weeks plus ago in a regular spec pack. ****ing cards are STUPID. they need to up the rate on N7 weapons if you have everything already maxed such as all weapons all upgrades and all characters. Im not asking for 100% but jesus christ im looking at years of play before I can unlock all the N7 items.

I thought originally once you maxed out common you would get uncommon and once you maxed uncommon you would get rare and once you maxed out rare you would get ultra rares. Characer cards being 99% of my drops is really stupid.

So, for SCIENCE I just spent the last hour buying and recording Premium Spectre Pack (PSP) purchases--55(!!!) in total, plus 5 or 6 Vet packs.  edit:  so obviously buying in bulk.

Observations: they've probably upped the percentage of ultra-rares a bit (or I just got lucky). It's not overpowering, but I ended up with 9 ultra-rares from 55 PSPs, or ~16%, up from the average 9% others here have seen.

I maxed my new rare weapons in the first 13 PSPs--but I'd previously maxed my rares. So there's a decided bias towards weapons.

In total I ended up with:
9 Ultra-rare Weapons
8 Uncommon Gear items
10 Rare Gear items (it appears the damn things are effectively about as rare as ultra-rares)
20 Rare Weapons (because I was maxed out at PSP 13, this isn't a reliable statistic)
80(!!!) (eighty) rare character cards
30 of which were Rebellion character cards (decided bias towards the new ones)
18 of which were Resurgence character cards
32 of which were base game character cards
9 Uncommon character cards
10 Common character cards

It should be 16%. 1 in 8 would make X level Ultra Rares hard to get, but not impossible.

Rare Guns: 20 (This is out of 13 psp packs. I had all my other guns maxed)

Each time I got a rare equipment, it was as an 'extra' rare, beyond the standard 2. It makes me wonder if specter packs might be the best way to unlock them.

Interesting observation, Bobkyou.

Looking at my recorded data, all of the gear unlocks (uncommon and rare) that I picked up from PSPs were in slot 3.

Now initially I was reordering things so they lined up, but I stopped pretty quick. So maybe I screwed up my data, but that matches what you've seen.
