No this isn't a "mad about the terrible ending" thread. I just beat Sanctuary again and I'm wondering why Miranda is acting hurt at the end. I warned her about Kai Leng and all, so she survived but she says she needs to recover and "get this scratch" patched up or something.
She has a spot or two of blood on her face but seems otherwise alright and Shepard doesn't offer her assistance or anything so... what did Kai Leng do to Miranda?
Why is Miranda acting injured?

She probably got roughed up a little in the fight. I just assumed she broke a few bones fighting it out with the cyber-ninja.

Well, there is the video showing Kai Leng dropping in on her so they obviously fought in one way or another.
This is another bit that BW decided they could be nice and lazy about by not having to show any fight or explain what Miranda did to prepare and protect herself.
Just accept that she fought Kai Leng, but thx to the warning was able to survive somehow, though she is a bit banged up, even if you can't see too much damage... She does limp around at one point there and is slow to get up.

Seems like it would have been pretty easy to put some blood on her. Maybe they're saving it for clarification?

I think that the black stuff on her face in that scene is blood, so it would imply that she has been injured.

She had been fighting with KL and her father right after that so she was a bit banged up. I think it shows how tough/good her skills are to survive against KL solo. I miss her as a squadmate would be neat to have some dlc missions with her available.

Ashley/Kaidan's face gets mangled by Eva (Even though they're wearing helmets, but OK), but Miranda gets beaten in a 1v1 fight with Kai Leng and comes out with bloody gums and a little bit of blood on her cheek and forehead.

Leng seems a notch above most of our super squad from ME2.

Bear in mind, at the point you find her, she's had to fight through angry husks, kai leng (probably would have run) and her father.
Her father has the gun, Kai Leng has a sword and husks have claws (I think). So yeah anyone of those would have injured her.
