"For consoles, work is underway for the first title update (patch) which we hope amongst other things, to address the 360 achievements bug for those early DLC players on that platform."

And Bioware can't determine when a patch will come out until after MS has approved it. On a side not 1.2PC is not where consoles are. Dagger fix, spawn fix, and xp exploit to name a few.

All I ever wanted was official confirmation that a patch was in the works. When it lands is irrelevant, imo.
Assuming that is, that Fernando Melo is not EaApoc 'gone dark'....

Gosh. I've been complaining a lot, but you take the price. Calm down a bit will you, no one will ever listen to console gamers complaining if we are as unreasonable as you are.

Why only PC / console not patched / why not hold up PC:
For the same reason we would not hold back a needed console patch just because a PC patch was not ready at that time - these are completely independent of one another. In addition, with this particular case, many of the fixes are already in the console version at launch (as the PC version was complete by then) and these are now making their way back from console.
Patch page / I said a patch to 'all' versions would be avail Monday:
No, I'm pretty sure I did not say that. Each week I've been posting a brief update and I think I've been pretty clear (or at least have been trying) to separate what is a PC patch (now on 1.02, with work on 1.03 underway) and Console update (likely to be dubbed update #1 as we get closer, which I did mention was also underway) - these are completely different dev threads and I would expect will continue to release independent of one another as they become available (at least for now).
Hope that helps.

That said the game is extremely fun and very playable in its current state. That doesn't mean I don't wish it was patched like yesterday though.
Great game Bioware, best in a long time. Now please hurry up and patch it.

Not my fault Melo said something that was false. Besides, I went rage mode between starting this and a trip to the store where is was retard central and I almost got hit in the loading zone.
Melo shouldnt have said anything at all or clarified that he was talking about another PC patch and not a patch for all versions of the game which is what he implied by posting a link to his statement about the patch coming out this week with by no means made any distinguishment between the PC and Consoles.
Where he said something that was false? Again. He said a patch would be released. A patch was released. Where did he say a patch for the 360 would be released? I don't believe it can even be construed as a lie of omission.
You assumed when he said patch he meant a multi-platform patch. Granted, it's disappointing that a 360 patch hasn't been released yet, but I have no reason to doubt that Bioware is snickering behind the scenes.
Priestly: *high fives Melo* Good one, dude! You got them all thinking we're releasing a console patch!
Melo: *gloating grin* I know. Go me!
Woo: We're not even working on one! Suckers!
Priestly: They'll believe anything. *evil laugh*
*cue Woo and Melo to join in on evil laugh*
Sorry about the store, though. I live in Atlanta, so stupid drivers are a bane of my existance. You have my sympathies. But just relax. Bioware isn't out to screw anyone. Srsly.
