PC version ME2,  already played game few times, am now trying first time to use the Gibbed Editor to import new custom facecode from the ME2 faces database site.    I have read few times about how its done but it never works for me, so obviously my drunken brain is missing something.
I open up the save game i want , clicked on toolbox tab and then import option, then it opens up in the faces folder i created earlier when i had to create an export face ,  but how do i get a new face ?   I have lots of face codes that i want to use but how do i get them into faces folder so i can import them  into the save game ?

I have also tried the method of opening up the tabs   Raw - Player - Facecode  and copy/pasted the new code i want , then clicked the floppydisk type icon to save it to the exact savegame i want, but when i load up actual save game to play,  i still have the original normal face, even though when i look back into the Gibbed Editor the actual new face code is showing .
I must be doing something wrong ,  can anyone please help

The only way I have successfully created a new face is to create a new character and enter the code at the Customize Appearance screen before Lazarus Station. After you get out and the first save is created, you open that save in Gibbed and export the face file. It can then be imported to whatever character's save that you want.

As far as I know there isn't an actual face editor outside of the game.

The reason pasting the new face code into the Raw section didn't work is because that specific portion of the save only modifies the display of the face code in the squad screen. If you looked there the code should have been the one you entered in gibbed despite the face being the original. At least that is what happened to me when I first attempted this. The code itself is generated when you make the face at the beginning of the game, and is apparently not used for anything after that.
