That operation influx of newbies/noobs always drops gold games' quality. I don't mind newbies that stick with you and listen to your commands, that usually led to successful extraction or just fun match.
But when you yell the fourth time "Stop it" to the idiot HE that spoils your biotic explosions with his overload and he continues... Well, that sucks. The team wiped out on the wave 10 with the last objective to go. I did two objectives but was surrounded by phantoms.

Why didn't you double throw and set off a tech burst and a biotic explosion? In hectic matches **** happens. You just learn to deal with everyone spamming everything and get on with it. The game isn't all about you. Or is it?

Do you think I don't know about it? Of course I did it, but too many times overload spoiled all and throw didn't trigger BE. In case you don't know BE more effective in clearing enemies and we had only one engineer and he was retarded.

 I'm 6 for 6 in gold on Cerberus different maps p, and frankly I was scared going into gold; but if you have a team that has mics and works as a team it's as easy as silver.  Do you know how many phantoms

i'd love it if they did do an operation bronze or silver weekend, then at least i would beable to take part in it without been kicked and told i have no buisness playing in those games, seriously i dont understand why this weekend had to be a gold operation when theres so many of us never gotten to gold matches, and now because some people tell me im not good enough and that im dead weight, i cant take part in this operation unless i can find people who are not so judgemental and at least give me a chance to see if i can actually hold my own in gold

Keep trying to get in a game-- there's plenty of people who would be happy to let you in.  Some of the best players you'll meet are also the least judgemental.

Don't blame the players for not wanting to sacrifice their time to help a total stranger that they will very likely never see again.

Someone at Bioware came up with this idea and apparently it was the best the collective group of them could muster. If at some point someone decided it was a stupid idea it did nothing to stop this retardation from going live.

This is nothing more than developers being out of touch with the player base. With some of the balance changes that took place recently I am almost certain the balance guy does not play this game and works off a spreadsheet.

honestly. BW needs to fix this problem. N7 Ratings needs to be at least 140 or something in order to do Gold.

I'm not so annoyed at carrying people who try... but I just sat through a FBWGG with a player hiding in the very back of the map aside from shooting out 3 cobras the entire game. The worst part was that two of them were a waste as it was a prime we were about to kill without needing a missile... (the third was a nice big wave, so even if we could've handled it, it was still a good group to cobra)
Can't wait until this challenge is over...

I feel like some are i just started playing gold on Friday but i notice how everyone seems to go down on wave 1 or on wave 8 they end up forgetting a phantom is able to sneak behind them. Am not terrible at gold i go down a bit but i never acutally hurt the team in anyway. When i got down its normally by someone that can revive real quick plus has playing a krogan battlemaster i can tank alot of damage and get to bleeding out allies fast

really annoying this weekend. the connections are awful and there are a tonne of noobs on gold. i assume its for the challenge thing. it would be alright if they didnt try and play it like bronze

I think you were playing with our team, thanks for the games.  You have to understand that 99% of the whiners want to be top score and not help their team.  When they lose they spend the next game complaining about how bad everyone was even though them running into the other side of the maps spawn is why the phantoms appeared right behind their team.  Most of them don't use mics as they don't think communication matters, and it probably doesn't for them.

Gold random/random is no different than bronze or silver other than the damage taken and enemy types that spawn.  You just need teamwork.  If you want to play some more send a FR to D4rk50ul we usually have space for a 4th as we are a 3 man team.


Edit: If you never play anything but Gold you will get so used to it that playing anything else will feel like you are invincible.  If you start playing it do not go back to silver or you will start re-learning old habits and tactics.

This weekend the gold lobbies are full of incompetence. I had a few good games earlier, but only because I was picky about who to play with.

So I decided to stay in a lobby with average players. I more or less carried them to wave 10 where we failed, because they all died within 30 seconds and refused to use their precious medi gel to get back up and help me with the hack. What bothers me about it is that we could've made it easily if they had at least tried.

Then Kick people without mics but don't just kick someone because of a low n7 rating because they might be quite capable. Honestly I could have been running gold a long time ago but people on the forums say oh you can possibly run gold with low weapons. Im running with a predator ii and am doing just fine

Try going into a lobby with n7 1000+ teammates running around and dieing/failing every. single. wave. again. and again. 

They must reaaalllllly love silver and bronze......
