Javelin was one of the first ultra-rares I got. The fire-delay is something to get used to, but the built-in penetration is nice. With it my GI pretty much has wallhax.

I prefer the Kishock because it has about the same punch, and it ignores shield-gate. I use it for my Batarian Soldier, though (got 6 fraaking character cards for him after I unlocked all his appearance options)
Yea, random can seem against you at times. For resurgence week, Geth Engineer was the last character I unlocked, and it was really the only character I wanted. I didn't care at all about the Kishock or the Batarians, and those were the items I got fully unlocked first (and the got a total of 12 redundant character cards after that). Even now, I have every Resurgence character and weapon fully unlocked EXCEPT the Geth Engineer (unlocked none of the appearance options. NONE!) I just keep getting redundant Batarian and AJ character cards.

Its all luck, I'm only N7240 or so, and its one of the few ultra rares I have (and the only one past 1). I use it on my Geth Infiltrator... because it is a Geth weapon! May switch to BW, since it is also rather fitting.

I don't know, man, just luck. If you grind to get the weapon you will be just as peeved as when you go to work. Play the game for fun, the Javelin will come along when it will.

got it, don't really see whats so good about it. i prefer the valiant.

Whatever "it" is, I have it. My Javelin II is one of my favorite weapons..
Also, I love the delay...it allows last moment corrections!

Still waiting for the Saber tough...

It's random really. Met a guy who had Javelin X and didn't use it... He was still waiting for his GPS to be higher than rank 1...
