I was thinking about it, but my friend recommended against it: people might argue as to why certain ones should be there and why others shouldn't. Saw his logic, agreed with it, didn't want the headache of those arguments. Besides, I imagine other people who originally made other Murphy's Laws didn't really get a (full) say into every law that came onto the list.

To be a selfserving jackass, I was hoping someone would bump this, lol. Glad you did! I was going to do it at some point with some other rules I've come up with, but thank you! I'll add those new ideas at a later time, like when I put pen to paper!

Feel free to quote them or add your own. I'll add that to the OP, and hopefully it doesn't go haywire like it originally did.

This is so true. I had a failed gold reaper match on condor last night where a Brogan followed me to every point and started to disarm with me. I even told him to leave me be, because I can handle that because i have cloack. He didn't listen or was just trolling. Between the objectives he and an other guy just runned around and got killed. We got a nice wipe on wave 9 ( me and the other normal player was out of medigel).

226. When you melee a Hunter, it will cloak and become ethereal so you pass through it. When you use a power on a Hunter, it will cloak and become ethereal so your power passes through it. When you shoot a Hunter. it will dodge. Then the Hunter will shoot, stagger, and kill you.

227. When you do kill a Hunter, another one spawns behind you.

230. If you 'quick match' to play your favorite map/enemy/difficulty and actually find a lobby, the host, at the last moment, switches to your most hated map/enemy/difficulty.

231. If you've equipped your top tier equipment bonuses, you will drop into a match on wave 11 seconds before extraction

232. The moment you've finally warped one of the 5 surrounding pryos, your lone wolf engineer will saunter in and tech spam it, preventing a much needed biotic explosion. Unfortunately, their tech bursts cool down pwns yours for 'throw' even though you've maxed out your passive cool downs, have 200% cd bonus, and have a tier 3 efficiency armor bonus. :pinched:

233. Your space bar has been Indoctrinated and is just waiting for the chance to get you killed.

234. When someone said "You can't save everyone.", just know they were talking about you.

235. When someone said "There are always casualties in war", they were also talking about you.

236. You will have a day when everything will go right. This is not that day.

237. Walls and objects get progressively stickier as squadmates die.

238. While sprinting for that perfect cover spot just a level above and behind a group of the enemy, your hand will twitch and you will miss the cover by a hair and jump right down in the middle of them.

239. In the last two seconds before full extraction, you will try to stand up from cover only to vault over the cover and out of the extraction zone.

240. When a Banshee appears, your squadmates will decide killing it is your job and scatter to the four winds.

241. The better you think you're doing, the more enemies are sneaking up on your flank.

242. When you are having a good game, on wave 11 the EA servers will disconnect connection seconds before extraction.

243. When you need to refill your Medi-Gel and don’t want to waste the credits on the Jumbo Equipment pack, you never get them by buying the other packs.

244. When you do a random search for a bronze match you may get into a gold one in progress and you will be using the character you are least skilled at.

245. When you join a gold match in progress the closest Brute is already charging at you before you even arrive in the game.

246. The invisible turret is not a part of your imagination. It will be placed from time to time and can usually be found near two dead team mates, one of which just came to revive the other.

247. You will run out of ammo by one shot, from killing the enemy that just killed you.

248. When you need to use cover you leap over it. When you need to run you seek cover. When you actually get cover to work, you are on the wrong side or corner of it.

253. You will most likely fight reapers if you're a QI.
254. The character/weapon cards you don't use will be the first things maxed out, and the things you use will never get an upgrade.

257. If a rocket trooper isn't looking at you, you will get hit by a rocket in about .25 seconds.

258. Contrary to popular belief, rocket troopers CAN fire rockets at you while in cover.

259. Enemies don't believe in getting staggered.

260. Powers don't work on phantoms.

261. A phantom is as good as dead once it's barriers are down (see #262).
