So I take it this subject required another thread. Even though there's a 58+ page one on the first page? Oh yeah I forgot this is bsn a properly coordinated effort is beneath us. How could I forget.

I installed demo (because I throw ME3 out from my PC month ago) and I tried to play it.. but I can't. Knowing RGB endings it's too depressing for me. After few hours I turn ME off for good (or to next turn on/off campaign oc

Yeah it sucked still, I felt like I was being fed a giant steaming pile of sh!t again, and it didn't help that My Shep was forced to have dreams about a little boy. The after credits end scene with the old dude and little boy somehow felt like it was aimed at giving child molesters/pedophiles the best ending.
SO it still sucked

Loaded a save game, got depressed immediately, turned the game off. It's not playing the game, really, but I hope my "vote" is counted.

I talked to Matriarch Aethyta on the Citadel, this time I took the renegade interupt and told here the "Nobody messes with my girl"
Also spent some time looking at the Presidium layout, wondering if I can see enough in ME1/2/3 to approximate that whole ring (Purgatory+Commons+Consular)
Also spent some time exporting reapers from ME1/2/3 It's interesting how pretty the cinematic Sovereign class reapers from the intro of ME3 are compared to the previous models. Also interesing how Harbinger changed from arrival to ME3

I played with one of the other Shepards i had planned on playing through. I forgot that I had actually named one Deus, still didn't help me cope with that horse **** ending. I played through Grissom Academy since that character had romances Jack. During the dream sequence I kept trying to run away, but the game wouldn't let me. Turned it off and don't really feel like playing again knowing how it ends, even though I did have fun.

Played the Witcher 2 yesterday and today I will be in the city and take pictures (it's queens day here in the Netherlands).
Mass Effect 3 sits in the cabinet with the other games and I will play the EC and if it's crap, then I stay with my no more Bioware/EA policy...

Turned it on, loaded my last save, then exited to the ingame menu, put the game down to the tray and left it that way. Turning off went much more smoothly, and it's still turned off.
There's no sense to make another run of the game with that disappointing, unrewarding and lashed-together rip-off an ending and MP got boring to me quite quickly. I'm not into shooters. I'm into story-driven games.
So, at the moment I'm waiting for the EC (with my sceptical hat on), and if they screw that up, then I won't touch another game produced by Bioware (not because of the artistic direction they happened to chose, but because despite it's evident that the game was rushed as hell due to time constraints, they still lied to us during the marketing campaign and certainly because of how they treat the situation right now (bad PR, "artistic integrity", "vocal minority" etc..).
I have much more importatn things going on in my life right now than a game that screwed up big time and missed so many opportunities.
As for my "gaming life", if I can call it that: I'm playing The Witcher 2 EE right now. It literally eats ME3. An Easter European, independent game developer without financial backing them could create a so much better game. It's amazing. I recommend it to all of you. It's a must buy.

you need to get/play "Witchhunt"
for topic at hand. did some pondering while completely away from BSN. realized something again. EC will fix absolutely nothing for me. even new ending won't fix anything. ME3 is not a bad story. its just not a story for me anymore. oh well. these things happen. next time I'll remember not to preorder and wait for a big drop in price instead. easier to deal with disapointment when you don't have "I could have bought so many other useful and/or fun things with that money" sitting in the back of your mind.

Sadly, I couldn't participate this weekend.
I DID, however, finish the game a second time last weekend and it was absolutely dreadful. The ending hangs over the entire game and feels like a slap in face with every mission you complete.
Just horrible, awful stuff.

Good morning, Shinobu and everyone! It's good to be back with all these great ME folks who are Holding The Line. I seriously went through MP withdrawl yesterday, and BSN withdrawl, too. This community helps me feel connected to others who love this trilogy as much as I did, and who were so disappointed with the ME3 ending.
As tough as it was to not play MP or log on to BSN (even though I stink at MP, it keeps me sane until the summer DLC), I refrained. But I did keep wondering how many thousands participated. Cheers, everyone--happy Monday!
Have to go administer a final exam in Fantasy Literature. Not the most popular person this morning at 8am CT. Cheers, all--

Did as requested. Loaded up the game, left it on all day once I reached the actual playable part. And not paused either, just my femshep standing there, staring out at the destruction of the cityscape at the beginningl, just like I felt numb sitting there watching the ending so many weeks ago.
Later that night, when I got home from work, I played for a short time until just after the grate-kid, and then I turned it off. Don't see myself ever playing it again, as up until Saturday night, I had hopes of playing it again one day. I realized then, however, that there's no spark whatsoever left to play it.
I can only hope what we did made a difference, but as of midnight last night, I only counted about 500 tweets, maybe a little more, and I thought 500, out of thousands, or millions..?! I don't think it's going to matter much.. So sad.
Seriously, it's depressing really.

Did everything, played for around five hours on Saturday, tweeted and reported on FB and here, didn't touch the game yesterday nor did I log here, reported on FB and tweeted, now reporting back. Hope we made a little difference to ensure EA/BioWare see we care about the SP no matter if small.
