I have two playthroughs, the second though is right before landing on earth because, well, F*** Earth. On the Normandy I have time and it's my choice.

So I choose not to be placed in a situation where my choices are taken from me.

I didn't have a file ready for ME3, as I'm starting over in ME1 with a custom Shep this time =). So I just made a quick custom shep in ME3 that looked ugly as all hell (on purpose, of course) and am playing through the intro. Much love from Alaska; let's get an ending that's worthy of mass effect.

Edit: also blue babies

Turned on ME3 for about an hour, just made a detailed list of what my War Asset numbers were prior to last mission so I can have a look at what I missed. Also had a play with the face editor as a trial run for creating my FemShep for my next playthrough. Also posted on twitter.

Tomorrow I'll be playing Skyrim.

It;s not bad, although the lack of dialogue options is dissapointing, the end is the main looming dissapointment though

I can't even play it. I'm sitting here in the middle of a mission (don't even know which one, maybe the Rachni, since I'm holding a firestorm), and I just have it in the background. *sigh*

Started a new game on 'Action Mode' just for the hell of it. Got bored pretty quickly.

Play it? I'm not playing it, not until they fix the ****ing ending. My Xbox is sitting idle at the menu screen, connected to EA's servers and that's where it will stay for the remainder of the day.

I am playing now, if you can call it that. Started the game up but I just dont have any motivation to play any part because of the ending. I am just walking around in the normandy, so bioware please fix the ending, dont lose this magnificent series.

Just got to Mars - already wanting to turn it off. Zero motiovation to get as far as I can until the turn off, going to give it another few minutes then thats me done.

This is the first time I have played it since I watched the abomination of an ending for the first time. So depressing playing again. :(

I started up my oldest saved ME2 completion (where I made all my newbie mistakes), changed my class and just made it past Mars. The gameplay's pretty fun. Interestingly, I find the jarring nature of the intro is softer this time, since I know there's some explanation coming (or possibly because I just don't care). And the autodialogue is much more noticeable when I'm not swept up in the shiny graphics, new environments, and tweaked controls.

While I can be curious about the events of the game, it's difficult to be more attached to them than as a list of tasks to be done, or tactical problems to be solved. The emotional punch is gone - partly, I'm sure, since this is a replay, but I'd be inclined to say it's also partly because I know there's no sense in becoming emotionally invested. And for the record, despite how much ME2 I've played, the emotional scenes are still emotional for me, so there's some proof it's not just repetition.

This game is a lot harder to replay then the previous games. I'm not sure if it's the ending or the autodialogue, My renegade shepard is pretty nice compared to his previous iteration.

Turned on. Started my renegade FemShep playthrough. Got... oh... 50% through the Mars mission and was slapped in the face by the memory of just how rediculous the Crucible is.

The contrived origin of the design can be ignored with some effort.

The absurb revelation on what it does... not so much.

So back to the Witcher for me.

I'm actually glad they used liara as the shadowbroker to find it, that kind of makes sense. But yeah the fact it turns out to be a magic wand is a bit depressing.

Currently trying to find where to eavesdrop,  doing the pacman scanning, planets saying 50% done - but no more is to find - been flying in and out 3,000,000 times now. Image IPB

About to start Priority Sur'Kesh soon

And all the repetitive sacrifices, the repetitive missions, repetitive scanning.
This is one big  (annoying) repetitive game!

Not at all motivated (see above)

I played the beginning of the Sur'Kesh mission this day and I have to say that it was without any suspense. OK, it's a replay, but even in ME 2, which I replayed more than four times, I had more emotions and was exited about what was going on. I had this feelings in ME 2, because I was able to replay the game with other Paragon/Renegade choices and experience at least a bit different game with different outcomes (leaving the Asari in Samara's recruit mission alive or not).

But in ME 3 this factor is missing completely. There are no sidequests except of the N7 missions which are bound to the multiplayer maps in which I can control my squad. Because of that the chance to replay the game with different Paragon/Renegade choices without risking the main plot ending is near zero. A lot more sidequests without meaning to the main plot in any way and the possibility to control the squad would've been much better for the replay fun in my opinion.

For example a quest about a colony in the Terminus systems which is led by a crazy terrorist who holds the people there hostage. He wants to He warns you that any attempt to stop him will lead to the deaths of the colonists. Now you have several options. You can choose the brutal (e.g. Vega) way and shoot your way through to him, risking the lifes of the colonists or you can negotiate. Either way you will approach him and have the choice to 1) kill him and stop this, 2) pursuade him to stop this or 3) help him with his plan to use the colonists as a living shield against the Reapers.

If you stop him than the surviving colonists will help you with the Crucible by giving you sensible information about Cerberus. With this information you can overrun a Cerberus station in the Terminus systems and get science reports which can be used to help the scientists on the Citadel. And there are dozens of sidequests of this kind which would be perfect to use for increasing the replay fun.

Oh, was we supposed to actually play the game as well? I just started it up loaded my last save and then immediately shut it down again.

I'll try to read the details more carefully next time

I played for 10 min (walk around the citadel). Unfortunately (or may be for the best:), I do not have time to play more, we have a working day today in Russia. It's first time I launched ME3 for the last month. :/ Didn't feel good, all bad memories about the ending returned.
*sigh*

Playing again, first time since I witnessed the ending weeks ago. I started a new playthrough and going through the prologue I can't help but think how much more could've been done on Earth. Wasted potential... The final London mission was so underwhelming...

Launched Origin (it had to do an update) and started Mass Effect 3 again *sigh*

Have to work most of today (10 hrs) so I won't be able to play much in the actual game...but I don't want to anyway, so that works out just fine. What bad memories...it's not been long enough.

Oh well, here's hoping EA/Bioware/Evilmegacorp decides to fix this ridiculous "ending". What's that cut-off time again?!
(ah, 2am...no problem.) I may just setup a Twitter account just for this. Been draggin my feet; might as well join for a good cause, right? -_-

Just played for an hour or so...made shopping tour on the Citadel, new Collector armor doesn't make me look fat. Had to shoot Wrex when leaving the station...wanted to save him from ending.

Then visited Thessia, nice place except for Reapers...had meeting with Kai Lame.
Stopped playing at this point, game goes down after this. Implications....unpleasant.
