Managed to start my insanity playthrough at last. Dunno if I'll be bothered to finish it though... if only for achievement.^^

It really does seem that way. The more I go through the game, paying attention to the dialogue and the character of Shepard, the more the ending seems completely disconnected from the rest of the game. It's almost as if someone wrote an ending to a different game.Omega Torsk wrote...
Yeah, furthers my theory that the ending got hijacked... which it apparently did.Abreu Road wrote...
Playing tuchanka.
You know, I really laughed out loud when Shep says to Dalatrass: "you can't condemn an entire people based on what might happen" or something like that.
What a ****ing irony.

I played through horizon, sanctuary and up to the cerberus base... then i couldn't continue, just felt pointless as the end will just make me sad and unhappy.
Was happy to end it after the romance scene with Garrus :3
i did lol a bit at cpt riley's (i believe the name was) email that ended with "We'll hold the line", felt very fitting

I replayed the Thessia mission with Javik instead of Tali.
It made sense at the time, okay! I didn't know about any Prothean involvement there, and I figured Tali would relate more to Liara about the whole losing their planets thing. But naw, she didn't. Although it was funny that Liara completely disbelieved an actual Prothean just as much as she did Tali's guesswork.
But yeah, after having read The Final Hours, it's something of a bummer that the Prothean VI subplot was scrapped. Javik kinda sucks. And going back, that mission was pretty short. Would have been nice to see more of Thessia.
Oh, and the Prothean VI totally would have noticed if Shepard was indoctrinated all along, since it noticed Kai Leng. So yeah, indoctrination theory still doesn't make sense to me.
But before that fiasco, this one went to the Citadel and listened to the whole Blasto audio play for the first time. Badassfully.
One last thing; I was thinking of replaying the ending once more (fifth time now!) just to keep the disappointment fresh in mind, but my Galactic Readiness Level had dropped from 87% to 55%, so two of the endings wouldn't even have been available, even after completing every game and every side quest of every game.
Regardless of what you do with the Extended Cut, BioWare: Please remove the multiplayer requirement for the endings, so I can replay this game in the future and have the same options available in singleplayer without playing hours and hours of multiplayer first. Or at the very least, have the percentage not degrade. I had it at 100%, once.
I don't mind the multiplayer, but I figure the multiplayer community won't be all that active five years from now, and I'm willing to replay Mass Effect 1 five years after *that* came out. And if you fix the ending, I'll want to replay all three at some point!
Here's hoping you do a good job with the Extended Cut!
(Hopefully more than you promised you'd do! Pretty please!)

Started a new game. Felt this hollow empty feeling watching wall to wall autodialogue where i had little input into Shep in intro. Once first opportunity to save came up, saved and quit game. Won't be playing again till extended cut comes out. Back to the brilliant ME2 for me.

I stood at the galaxy map just before the cerberus base mission.. How did I feel? dejected... bored... I wont be playing 3 again since it just detracts from ME1 and 2 at this point.

Played the intro and Mars on Action Mode. Then tweeted.
I liked the ending. I just hope they fill some plotholes, and give more closure and verity.

I played for most of the day. reminding myself of some of the awesome story writing that does exist in this game. ie. Mordin's death, most of the Liara scenes, and the Tali romance to name but a few. I enjoyed it alot, it reminds me what we're fighting for as fans.
Bioware: I love this series, I have done since the first one. I played it loads, played for long periods at a time when i did, and will continue to do so, BUT ONLY, if this ending is given the proper attention that it so urgently requires. nothing less will suffice. Otherwise the series will remain un-replayable to myself and many others.
Edit: Just cleared up a couple of mistakes

I decided to start a new game by importing one of my old ME2 Vanguards. This is the first time I have played the single player in a while (mainly because it seems kind of pointless, given the endings).
We're doing it because we love you BioWare and we know that the ending was, to put it lightly, not your best work.

Very pointless, but I'll go through Tuchanka again. Still, there's no need to spend my time worrying about completion or even the characters anymore. I am looking through the Codex now and just read the Crucibles. It states,"If the Crucible were completed, the challenge would become tuning the weapon to kill a Reaper halfway across the galaxy without inflicting unthinkable levels of collateral damage." So I guess Bioware didn't want to address this.

I imported one of my Shep's from number two, started a new game, turned it off right after vent boy.
it felt wrong, knowing where it was all going. I hope BW can fix this, I really want them to.

To avoid reinstalling game I turned ME3 demo on but... it was too difficult to play it again
Horrible experience after over month not-playing in ME3
I was thinking all the time about ending...
After few hours I turned off this game without playing
And my tweet:
@Bioware @EA @masseffect I support #turnME3on for love to ME universum and hate to endings

About to boot up Tuchanka...I spent a few hours yesterday getting fetch quests out of the way so I didn't have a ridiculous backlog. Did Grissom Academy (I really like it), so it wasn't too bad. I can get past a lot of things to replay my favorite missions...but damn, it's not nearly as exciting knowing nothing you do matters.
I still will up my EMS so I can live, but that's it. My Shep being alive is the only thing worth doing all that fetch-questness and a few MP rounds for.

I turned it on again. Worked on my 2nd campaign, but I didn't have the heart to play the terrible final mission, much less witness the travesty of an ending.
Please Bioware, fix Priority: Earth! Let us SEE our War Assets in action, and choose how to deploy them!

I've been lurking on these forums since the game came out without posting before, but as I neither use twitter nor facebook I felt that now was a good time to add my voice to the others on these forums.
I started a new playthrough of the game and got as far as Mars before I stopped. I really do like the game, and part of me WANTS to play it again, many times, but as long as the ending is the way it is, it all feels so pointless.
So please, Bioware, give me an ending worth fighting for, and I will play through the single player game more times than I can count. That is all I ever wanted from ME3 - an end worth fighting for. Until I have that end, however, I'll keep away from the single player mode.

I just finished playing ME3 for the first time in weeks. Started from the beginning again and was happy the face importer worked well for my ME2 Shepard this time. I got through the Mars and Menae missions and enjoyed them.
Impressions? I was struck once more by all the tiny details ME3 includes for those of us who have played the prior games.
For example, in ME2 if you ask Mordin how crew's doing, he makes an offhanded comment that the Cerberus staff has something in implanted in their teeth so they can be killed, and how using ocular implants was better in his opinion.
During my ME3 run today, I read an excerpt at the Shadow Broker terminal about an Alliance interrogation of a Cerberus operative... whose face exploded due to an ocular implant. Guess TIM took Mordin's advice.
So, yeah... it's still incomprehensible to me how so much of the game seemed like a reward for series players, yet the ending felt so unsatisfying to me. Looking forward to the Extended Cut DLC though.

Played the first hour. As many say virtually the entire game is damn near perfect. Until
...well you know. lol Some of my friends are giving up on ME3 in regards to the ending(s). But I still have faith in Bioware. I do believe there will be a brighter tomorrow.
I've played all the games. Read all the novels (including Deception
...still haunts me) & comic books. I even play the ME3 mp from time to time just to get my galactic readiness up for the "best" ending possible. By the way if anyone feels like stomaching some of the mp I'm on Xbox. (My gamertag is the same as it is here) Hate playing with randoms. Prefer to be able to talk to people. And honestly I wish I didn't even have to play it. But oh well.
Crimsoncat9 here. Holding the line.
