I took a hiatus after beating DA2 the first time and now I'm into it again waiting on Diablo 3.

Are these DLC packs worth getting? Legacy and Mark of the Assassin. Reviews are saying it's pretty beefy...about 3 hours content in both. That's pretty hefty for $9.99 DLC. My question is...the quality. How good is this DLC?

Do you think they'll tie much into a imported DA3 character(speculation of course)? Just curious on what people thought about the DLC. Legacy looks really interesting and I'm not sure about Mark of the Assassin. Not typically a fan of Bioware using people like Felicia Day+Jessica Chobot to act in their games.

Should I just wait? I don't think I ever see the DLC go on discount anyway and for 6 hours content...sounds like it justifies the price to me. Just as long as it's good.

Legacy definitly deserves a go, I found it way better than the original game. MotA wasn't equal imo, but not bad.

Does it have any significant plot details that tie into the main game? Or is just a side-quest thing where you're learning about Hawke's history?

More the latter. You'll learn some interesting things about the past of the Hawke family. On top of that you have the Wardens involved, if you are interested in them.
Can't tell you more without giving spoilers. You should take your sibling with you, most rewarding.

MotA offers you some new aspects of the Qunari culture, but Tallis is a set team member and I didn't like her much.

Legacy has very little impact on the story of DAII, but huge implications for the entire world of Dragon Age. I prefer it to Mark of the Assassin, which was a nice romp but very self-contained.

Liked them both for different reasons. Story wise: Legacy is clearly the better one imo.
Party banter if you like it is great in both. Made playthroughs with different partymembers just for that. If you bring your LI there is even interaction in that aspect.

I'd say they're worth it.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and bought both.

I kinda like Felicia Day and figure why not support Bioware too? 6 hours for $20 is more content than some full games give out...
