8 is considered the least favourite of the King's Quest series as it's more action/RPG then an adventure game.  I have the original CD version and the loading times between zones was really bad, camera is also a little hit and miss.

I love Defender's Quest! It's an extremely customizable tower defense game with an RPG feel and a great story. Felt it was worth every penny of the $15 I paid for it.

I haven't played the other games in that bundle though, so I can't vouch for them.

That game is great. Deep lore, very unpredictable, interesting interaction. However I suck at resource management .

I refuse to spend more than $10 so I need some recommendations fyi the only two I haven't played or ever finished is Temple of Elemental Evil and FTL.

GOG implied that BG2 will be discounted, so maybe you should wait a bit longer. My guess is it will be a part of RPG or Bioware bundle.

I already own Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 the games I mentioned are the ones I'm interested in but I'm a fickle person and I'd end up buying them all and never playing them.

Kidding aside i can recommend FTL, poor mans Eve it is kinda.

Definitely Planescape: Torment. I played it for the first time a few months ago, and it really is about as good as everyone is saying. FTL looks interesting, haven't played it myself yet.
