The Time Machine sale has begun

Essentially one game will be on sale to represent a year (right now Zork for 1983) at a major discount (some games can be up to 90%) and you can influence how long the game remains on sale for, you can vote to increase or reduce the time the game is on sale for and every sale of the game adds 3 seconds to the sale.

I hope it's something worthwhile soon that comes up but it's annoying to wait forever to one sale to be over, i much prefered how their flash sales worked a few months ago when they only had 1000 copies that was discounted and when they where sold they moved on to the next game atleast that was quicker.

That sale did have drawbacks though, such as when a game came up that nobody wanted and you had to wait a few hours for it to clear *cough* Jack Keene *cough*

Nice thing about this one is you can downvote to clear the game out so the next one can be put up.

My brother bought the original disc a long, long time ago. It's a goofy game, but from what I remember, it was very entertaining.

Saw the trailer, very tempting. Roughly $20 for 5-15 hours isn't too shabby - it'll at least have more replay value than A Machine for Pigs.

Thanks for the info. If it gets cheaper, I'll pick it up. The animation looks very slick, and the vibe of that whole game definitely has appeal.

In other news, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is finally on GoG! Hallelujah. I've heard enough from Mr. Epler on the game to know it's a worthy title.

If you buy all 3 titles, it's 70%. It's 50% for select items instead.

Clear Sky is the worst of the three Titles, but there a plenty good Mods.

Call of Pripjat again is much better than Clear Sky. There a some really awesome Mods available like AtmosFear (http://atmosfear.crommcruac.com/) or Misery (http://www.moddb.com.../stalker-misery)


And as i said: Don't touch Complete Mod.

Sweet. STALKER games. I've only played Call of Pripyat but I was always curious about Strelok.

Just asking for a little advice here from Baldur's Gate fans. Which would be better? Getting BGs 1 and 2 from GoG and then following this guide or getting BG 1 and 2 enhanced instead?

Buy from GoG and mod them is the better choice, they're cheaper, looks same as enhanced edition if not better and on top on that are drm free.

You'll only miss a couple of quests and characters that adds next to nothing to the game imo.

Sounds good, thanks. I liked the looks of Dorn-Il Khan (Half-orc fan, here) and the Blackguard class but they don't look all that redeeming.

I was also interested in multiplayer but that will get old really fast.
