I saw, the picks are a bit more appealing than yesterday. Arcanum, Myst, and The Longest Journey are strong choices. Another World and Gabriel Knight are also worth a look.

Syberia 1/2 and TJP 2 are great adventure games. Serious Sam 1/2 are tempting, I kinda miss the arcade-y shooters.

OMG that is my favorite game. Arcanum that is.

The soundtrack by itself was worth the money I paid for it. Those with a soft spot for Violin/Cello Quartets shouldn't miss it. Troika is Troika - Not always the most balanced in gameplay, but they've had one of the best reputations in writing since BIS/Obsidian. They knew roleplaying, no doubt about it.

Got into that from CrustyBot/SeaGloom - Even if the sequel never sees the light of day, I got plenty of fun out of it. The Open World Multi-Vehicle Setting reminded me of Diddy Kong Racing, of all things. XD Well, Glad to see we're on the same Pey'j for the subject.

I highly reccomend S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you're looking for a unique take on Post-Apocalyptic games. The AI can be tough as nails, but I thought it was worth the struggle against them. Faction-Based Missions, Survivalist mechanics that likely influenced F:NV's Hardcore mode, and an unorthodox storyline make it stand out. Would also suggest using the Autumn Aurora 2 mod as suggested by Bussinrounds(wherever the devil he is now). It gives the game a huge facelift, among some balancing odds & ends.

Can't really speak for the rest, though I've little doubt that Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender is the best piece of interactive media since Pong.
