Yeah I'm not really gettin' this turian baby hate. It's like you people don't like sharks, falcons, and cobras.
Scary looking = badass = cool. Scary looking/badass/cool + reduction in size and age = cute.
Seriously people, just do the math.

Well, to be fair, baby falcons are rather hideous. Most avian babies are, IMO. But baby sharks, cobras, krogans, and turians? D'awwww, I want to hug them all.

Really should be getting some work done, but contributing to this thread is important work too.
There really are too few pictures of spiky babies here.

This one is supposedly a turian/human hybrid. Looks like an abomination? Nope. Cuteness factor? High.

While this isn't really what this thread was about, it proves not all turian/human hybrids would be that horrible.

Sorry for resorting to this kind of picture, but there really aren't that many turian/human hybrid pics.
Request: If anyone with art skill could make a badass Garrus/Shep-child in full armor, with sniper rifle and omni-blade, that would mean I wouldn't have to try. Doesn't seem like anyone else has thought about how awesome and deadly the offspring of the two toughest warriors in the galaxy would be. This hurts me.

I am sorry but kill it with fire.
I really do love the garrus/ shepard parring but the one thing that I did like about the mass effect world was there were no hybrids. biologically speaking it could not happen mostly because there not even from the same planet and share no simliar DNA. Even other great apes that we share a majority of DNA a Hyprid is eather not possable or would just be uneathical to create if it could happen.
Sorry when ever I think of Hybrids in Mass effect All ik can think of is that half-human Ostrich form south park that just says "kill me".

I'll leave you with a quote, one from a man I deeply respect.
"For small creatures such as we the vastness is only bearable through love" - Carl Sagan
End quote
@Taboo-XX So does that only go for humans according to you?
Also, I find your repeated comments about oral sex disturbing.Taboo-XX wrote...
Or you could have sex with.........your own species.

Is it because of my comment about David Bowie looking creepy, cause I never meant to hurt your feelings with that one
It would be nice if this thread could focus just a little bit more on babies and a little less on making them or hating them because of their species. At least I interpreted the topic to be about our adoration for cute spiky babies.
Thank you!
Just trying to keep this thread alive and on topic. Problematic. Need some help here!

A lot of people confuse Turians with Salarians. Salarians have cloaca and lay eggs not Turians.
It's not hard to find out information by looking at the wiki
masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Turian
Turian features are avian, making them resemble humanoid birds or raptors, however unlike most Earth avian creatures, turians are viviparous and give birth to live young.

Regardless, turians have hemocyanin rather than hemoglobin, and of course, different amino acids.. A human mother carrying a turian baby simply wouldn't have proteins that could interact properly with a developing egg/zygote/embryo/fetus. At worst, it could cause her immune system to attack the developing baby. Then there's the blood problem. How would a human mother transfer oxygen to a developing fetus that didn't utilze the same oxygen transport proteins?
Suffice it to say, adoption is certainly the best choice for Garrus lovers.

I think the problem here is that Shepard can't genetically have Garrus's children.
^ To me it makes Garrus/Shep babies a bit weird... Maybe adopted turians?

It's a bit rainbows-and-unicorns that it would at all be possible and that they then could all live happily ever after, but then again stranger things have happened in ME, and I'm not only talking about space magic.
Shepard is no ordinary human after all that she/he has gone through. Morinth comments about the cipher (although that could just be her trying to ensnare Shep so that she can kill her/him) and nobody knows exactly what the Lazarus project did to Shepard.
Otherwise, there IS always adoption and Shep can probably live happily with a family united by love rather than blood.

Yup, I'm all for adopted spiky babies (and other babies too, for that matter). Although if hybrids are your thing, then that's fine too--I just don't share the enthusiasm over those.
Garrus would be the best dad ever, though.<3
Edit: moar pics!
