 Alot I've been working on "Operation Carry" :bandit:this whole weekend so many many phantoms are gone and plenty of lower N7s will be getting there packs. ()

I've played gold twice. My second attempt was a full extraction vs. Cerberus this weekend, so hopefully I'll get that commendation pack. I was a Drell Adept, spamming AoE Reave like it was going out of style. It's fun dropping it on Phantoms as they cloak, and then waiting for them to die in their invisible isolation.

It was a lot of fun. Thankfully our AFK member rejoined us after standing idle for three rounds.

My regular crew on PS3 banded out a flawless gold milk run (no deaths, full extraction) on FBWG just to get it done, then went phantom hunting for the rest of the weekend.

I was able to make extraction a couple of times on gold this weekend. Felt really good.

I just died on Wave 6 trying to solo Gold with a Drell Vanguard. No Extraction for me.

I did. Twice, full extraction. Wasn't too bad.

Full extraction 2 hours after the weekend fun started.

Wasn't successful in carrying bronze or silvers after that. Too much bronze/silver play for one person to carry ;(

Does Sole Survivor count for the weekend challenge or does the whole group need to survive? The LZ on Giant was swarmed and I was the only one in my group to medigel self with less than 5 seconds left on the clock. May they Rest in Peace/Pieces.

At least 10 extraction last weekend. I did operation 'carry'.
I actually liked the noobs that at least TRIED to help the team. I was scared of leechers...

And killed about 200 phantoms too.
Can't wait to have my packs!

Three times so far. 3 full extractions on Day 1. One last man standing last night. Forgot to keep an eye on timer :-(

I've had almost every variant, but kept going until I reached a full extraction, just last night. Also killed my share of Phantoms. Pretty cool weekend! I hope the packs will be good.

I was failing on lvls 6-11 on random Golds most of Sat. Tried again on Sun with a FBW/G/G and got a full extraction

Made it eventually, on fbw against geth (yeah, yeah, so sue me for picking the easy way out).

First tried with my Krogan Sentinel, but while it's great at taking punishment and dishing out melee damage, it just isn't set up to dish out ranged damage. Ended up respeccing my Geth engineer. Set up the turret for good shield regen + flamer and kept it close by to keep me and my teammates up and running as well as taking the shields off any primes, hunters and rocket troopers that came close. Dropped hunter mode completely and maxed out all the other skills.

Nice setup if you (like me) are not terribly skilled, but still want to be useful. Managed to get full extraction on two out of three rounds played with that setup. Many thanks to the rest of the team, whose nicknames unfortunately elude me.

I indeed, helped many a low level N7 rank and lower skilled players beat Gold numerous times this weekend. My Infiltrators need a break though.

I didn't EA server kept kicking me on gold. Best thing is I have done gold before the event. EA need to fix that dam communicating bug.

Completed about 5, least 2 against Cerberus. Did a ton of Silvers against Cerb too. Phantom goal will be blown away.

I dont venture on to gold much, but I managed it the squad was 3 asari justicars and a quarian(invisible type) against cerberus, thats 2 maps done 4 more left to do now on gold

How the hell do you guys do it? I have a level 20 adept and I find it hard to get an extract on silver. Most my friends don't play ME 3, so I'm always with strangers.
Gold just seems hilariously impossible. I'd love to be part of a team that could do it.

hmm... maybe you're having bad luck in squadmates, to be honest, i finish gold matches more often simply due to playing with people who aren't morons. (thats not to suggest there arent morons in gold, there are)

Maybe, On gold I always seem to get groups that love running off on their own, then what usually ends up happening is one gets taken out and one by one people go storming off to save that one guy and we all end up getting our ass's handed to us around lv 6.
Nobody using mics because they don't like strangers or are shy doesn't help much.

Some of the pub gold matches I had this weekend felt like I was playing on silver. Had to double check the scoreboard to be sure. I actually had some send me friend requests. Sadly I don't usually remember pub player names so I started writing their names down and adding them to my friends list.
One group, I was hosting a silver match, did so well I asked if they would like to do the gold challenge, they accepted. Well we failed like wave 3 on 1st match, wave 6 or 8 on 2nd one and wave 9 or 10 on the 3rd.
Thinking this is getting too frustrating I got on the mike and asked if they wanted to go back to silver and got a resounding "HELL NO! Not till we get an extraction!" All right! But this had to be my last match.

Sadly it was not ment to be. We were swamped by hords of phantoms seemingly spawning right on top of us with seconds to go on the clock. Out of missles and medigels. Giant did us in wave 11.

been playing cereberus all weekend and have won many gold games. I've been doing gold longer than this promotion. there was never any fear in my heart that I'd fail to get 20 golds this weekend.  Friends help but even  with randoms I've been having very good success.  I think on Friday I had one or two fails with randoms but I haven't had a failed mission since then. 


the biggest mission killer is people lone wolfing it. gotta stick with your team.
