Seriously this BS is getting to the point of absurdity where individuals think the way they play the game is the only acceptable way to play the game. You don't see these evil FBW farmers coming on here demanding that everyone adopts their standard of gameplay.

Yah, I find the notion that we are forcing others to play the way we want (as in, normally, as the game intended) hilariously ironic, because that is exactly what they are doing.

I find it ironic that everyone on this entire thread says they don't farm FBW Geth yet thats what you get when you do a random search of Gold. I find it ironic that everyone acts like they don't care when its very obvious they do care. They don't want to lose their easy credit method admit it at least. If the game was meant to be played by sitting on the other side of a bech and pressing X then they made a horrible game. I like to think this is not what they intended since you can't do this on any other map. FBW Geth is simple because it screws with enemy AI. If all of you never play FBW Geth then I don't see the problem of trying to make the game more balanced. The fact this thread is overrun with posters who obviously don't want anything to change shows just how big the problem is. Let the pretenders keep their precious cash cow. Just give the rest of us an incentive to play other game maps and hopefully it won't be so hard to find enough people to play random maps and match ups.

1) If you farm, you lose your skills. In my own experience I can say that you become worse player and my friends agree too. If you think that it's a first step to gold games, you are wrong. It's on par with bronze and just gives you bad habits like camping in one place and dying.
2) Majority of the public gold games are now FB W/G/G. It means when you want to have fun, try new maps, classes and weapons all you get is one bloody map with bloody weak enemies.

Play different maps and different enemies. Choose random game. Have fun and don't grind.
P.S. Hopefully Bio will fix this with balance changes or with a patch.

Until they start rewarding credits differently the community will gravitate to whatever map/enemy gets the credits fastest.  That simple.  Your argument is legitimate for what YOU are trying to get out of the game, but it would appear you are in the minority until Bioware loosens up the credit noose that is choking the life out of this game.

It's not even the fastest credits, just the most reliable as it takes the least skill to do.

Though people will always gravitate towards the easiest source of credits, if they reward credits differently, people will still just play the easiest setup that gives the most credits.

Bioware gave you the ability to filter out these matches by creating your own, by setting your own conditions. if you don't like it - you have the tools to make sure you NEVER encounter it.

It's just a game but it really brings forth the concepts of Positive Liberty and Negative Liberty - one says go forth and be free, the other says 'you can be free until you offend someone'. Stop being so easily offended.

My name is David, and I'm a farmer. I last farmed about an hour ago. I just want to survive extraction and get my bonus pack, and then I'll crawl back to the bronze and silver levels... Really, I promise... The problem is that I keep losing my connection mid Wave 8. I think that my PC-ME3 client gets too far behind the server, and the server just gives up on me. (In bronze waves, I can make a perfect headshot, and have to wait a good half-second to see/hear the result.) So, if anyone can give me a viable way to keep from getting disconnected lond enough to survive excration, I'll go away and leave gold to the zealots.

Frankly over the last 2 weeks I've seen an inordinate amount of "farmers" who either:

1. Deploy with the mission and do nothing or (more commonly)
2. Deploy and do nothing with the mission other than the money waves.

That annoys me as much as the farmers. Frankly if I see someone who has defaulted to "white" I pretty much know what they are doing.
