Probably because the real cancer in the game is probably these forums.  How many threads involve complaining about something that isn't even hurting them, or cannot be changed by complaining.

This list could go forever.  The funny part is when someone contributes something useful like a build idea or strategy they get flamed and trolled for 20 pages because it couldn't possibly be better than what you think is best.  Obviously everyone should do what you think is the best or right way because you are you, and they are just them.  All of the players everywhere should just do what you think is best because if they feel like doing what they want and have fun doing it they are obviously wrong, or interfering with the only persons experience that matters...

Arguing happened first two pages. There was some meaningful discussion since. I am not here to insult you either, but it shows what you came here for if you were expecting an insult/reaction.

But you are right, I don't know what I am doing on here anymore, seems like the trolls and dumb****s are out to play and anyone worth talking to in this thread has already curtailed off. I'll be off to watch a movie I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I actively swear, f....ck is probably in my top 10 most used words.

But there is a time for everything. Swearing just for the heck of it doesn't accomplish anything, just makes you look like an uneducated inbred ****.

Actually I played Firebase Giant/Gold/Reapers late last night and it was a blast!

The strategy involved taking up a defensive position in that small cargo area across from the extraction point. Somebody guards the ladder extrance in the rear, the other 3 guard the two other entrances. Though it may seem like a death trap at first, it reveals itself to be more of a corral.

The Reapers are forced to turn corners, even the Brute that charges has to make that turn into one of the doorways. Ravengers can't hit you, and Banshees are instantly assailed by gunfire in a tight area. The key is not to panic when they get that close, just open fire on them like crazy.

It's the perfect killzone. Sniping, biotics, tech, grenades, proximity mines.......you name it. The Reapers have to cross the area in order to make their approach. ARs and SMGs create the suppression, powers impose the crowd control.

The team I was on was composed of two human engineers with cryoblast and widows. The other classes were Turian Sentinel and Asari Adept with Revenant and Phaeston.. It sounded like glass was breaking every two seconds. I can still hear the ringing in my ears. lol!

We did go down a couple times, especially when it was time to activate devices, but we never got in trouble with Reapers throwing grenades. Everytime they threw one it landed in that hallway where we couldn't get hit. As we started feeling more confident we occupied the entire hallway and pressed our attacks on them instead of waiting.

DO NOT try this on the other side of the map. The control room at the top of that ramp? THAT is a death trap, we got nailed the very first time we tried it. Also Human and Drell vanguards are worthless in this situation. Don't play with anyone using those classes or you're like to hear "squad member is down!" over and over again. lol

It's not perfect, but it at least lets you mix things up and has you playing Gold on another map with another opponent.

 I'm sensing insecurity from a guy who cares about what other people 5,000 miles away from them think. Everything that I said to Ferret can go for you too. Might as well throw the OP in the mix as well.

IMO, this correlation with cancer is usefull, but in the same way a cancer appears in consequence of some bad habit... like lung cancer for smoking... or stomack for alcohol....
And in ME3 MP, the cause is the crapy store random system......

Everyone has their favorite weapon or char... but they cant just buy it and have fun arround because the store system doesnt allow it... And i know about all the "good" side of random stuff... But in the way to get what people want faster ( more credits to use in store and hope to be blessed), they started farming.... thats all...

Ah... and bioware wont and cant do anything about it... in the hole thing, its just one map that most people like playing in gold, nothing else..no cheating or anything...

So why are people wanting FBWGG banned/changed exactly? Because it's too easy? If that's the case, why not play something else? Just because a map+enemy little skill doesn't make it ragequit worthy. Who honestly cares how people spend many hours gathering credits to purchase random and fairly useless cards. Not like they're changing the code to allow themselves to carry 99 missiles into the game or being The Chosen One, able to stop time and Phantom insta-kill every enemy at once.
tl:dr play something else. or get a new hobby. life's too short. and there's other crap they need to fix before looking at this "problem".

Yeah, I also never have a problem finding a different gold game.  Just set the map or the enemy and you should be fine, at least on XBox.

Just another example of this. Some players only know how to Decoy and Grab. Thats all they do and when they can't just grab a foe over a bench they don't know what to do.

I primarily farm fbw geth gold, it's not like my skills have declined because of the farming. When I play other game types , I still carry the team every round, in fact I'm probably a better shot with a sniper now

If you go into the building on the far side of the map from the LZ and just camp there, the Geth don't understand how to flank you and you can just sit behind the counter and grab kill all the non primes.

People seriously go through that just for a few unlocks?
Mass Effect 3 is supposed to be a game, not a chore...

I think I'll stick to Unknown Location + Cerberus/Reapers + Gold then. Keep things interesting.

It is incredibly boring imo. People just do it because it's the most reliable source of credits.

But if that's how they want to play their game, and it's their choice. The rest of us can keep having our fun with randoms.
