I am having trouble getting my Mass Effect save files into Mass Effect 3, so I decided to go back and install ME2 to make sure they work there.  I realized that I DO NOT have a folder per the normal naming convention "John_32_Soldier_date" and instead only have .masseffectsave file extensions.  I started a new career to find the location and file extensions used and they are .pcsav.  Somewhere between the releae of ME2 and ME3 I had to replace a hard drive and just grabbed the files so that is why they are not in the normal location to begin.  Have I lost my ME2 career?
