I'd have to go with Samara. Too much experience + incredibly powerful.

I (Shepard) would run in and drag Liara out before something seriously bad happened, though. :)

Honestly? Miranda, imo. The other 3 are more powerful in terms of raw biotics, but Miranda has spent her entire adult life working for Cerberus. She's just as much a soldier as she is a technician or a biotic. She simply has skills the others don't have themselves.

Although, I'm not in any way saying that the fight would be easy. I think Samara would be the most trouble.

Miranda. Samara would be the only real threat.

Either Jack or Samara. Miranda wasn't even strong enough to hold up the barrier in the Collector base, and I've never imagined Liara, despite being one of my favorite characters, to be an all-powerful biotic like Jack and Samara.

Everyone holds the bubble up until the end. Non-loyal Jack and Samara handle the cutscene the exact same way as Miranda does, because she isn't a specialist. The only difference between Miranda and loyal Jack or Samra, is that Miranda doesn't to the pulse wave thing at the end. Otherwise, she holds up the bubble just fine.

Everyone seems to think that stronger biotics = win, without taking firearms and tech abilities (Who, out of the 4, only Miranda has) into account.

Biotics would not automatically decide the fight.
Both Samara and Jack are more powerful than Miranda but she is, by far, the most versatile figther since she is proficient with biotics, guns and tech.

Bah.

I've just had a grudge against Miranda since she was responsible for Garrus' death on my first ME2 playthrough.

What makes everyone think this would be a fair fight?  Remember, you can't break the rules in Thunderdome because there are no rules.

Liara is the Shadow Broker.  And she's a very good Shadow Broker at that.  She'll probably know about this before it even starts.  And her response will be to deploy a wet squad and have her opponents sniped the moment the cage door closes.

Do Miranda's ex-Cerberus assets provide her with enough intelligence information and actual soldiers to counter such a move?  Maybe, but probably not.

In any case, Jack and Samara are boned.

Wrong, Only loyal Jack and Samara maintain the bubble until the end. Doesn't matter who else, everyone else gets a Squadmate taken no matter what. The reason no one gets taken whike loyal Jack and Samara do it is because of the bubble force push.Been tested and confirmed.

Edit: You're also assuming that ONLY Miranda has tactics, or abilities besides biotics. AS far as I remember everyone else specilizes in weapons, and while Miranda has tech abilities, she lacks the awesome biotic combos that the others have. Statis, or singularity with warp is a boom worthy of note.

Edit 2: Jack or Samara would win, frankly it's a toss up. Samara is a Justicar with hundreds upon hundreds of years of practice with the power of a Matriarch and Jack is an uber biotic, who in cutscenes, own the stupid uber mechs. Both are super powerful, and even Liara has a chance because of her position as Shadow Broker. That in itself gives her an unfair advatnage over the other three.

If we were judging by cutscenes alone... before the power is toned down for game play (haha).

Jack would take all three on at the same time and win.
She tore a prison to pieces when she broke out of the Cryogenic cell. Entire heavy mechs turned to rubble as though the game was actually "The Force Unleashed" and not Mass Effect.

Samara gets an honorable 2nd place followed by Miranda and Liara.

Miranda is a Sentinel without Tech Armor.
Liara is a full Adept with poor weapons.
Samara is an assault rifle equipped Adept without singularity.
Jack is a Vanguard without Charge.

I'd probably go with Liara. She has Warp, Singularity and Stasis. She also has warp ammo. It's a close call and it'd be one hell of a catfight!

Have you not seen the cutscene? Everyone holds the bubble up until the end. Samara and Jack are the only ones who do the pulse wave thing though, like I said. Non-loyal Jack and Samara, and Miranda, just sort of fizzle out at the end of the long walk, at which point a squad mate is taken. Up to that point though, the bubble is maintained. Did I not explain that clearly enough?

Although I love how everyone is basing the outcome of the hypothetical battle on in-game powers and abilities, completely omitting everything each character is actually capable of. Hell, even in-game, Miranda's combination of Warp and Overload will do serious damage, considering OVerload can afflict the amps in Jack's brain, or shock Liara and Samara, stunning them for a period.

Like I said, strong biotics don't grant you a free pass.

Honestly, Liara. Not just because I love her, but because of her being the Shadow Broker and being through stuff that would have drove people insane.

Well.... Jack is there, and Samara.... I dont know, I cant see Samara ever winning in anything along wtih Miranda.

So Liara would most likely use her 1337 Br0k3r sk1llz to either have infiltrators lay down traps or just snipe them or something. Jack.... she might as well destroy the whole arena. Samra is a close third and Miranda.... I think you just wanted me to laugh.

Honestly ... Jack wins.
You can cheer for whoever you want, but Jack will destroy all the others as long as there aren't any unexpected happenings like temporary alliances or intervention from outside.

And if there's a large enough dose of cutscene magic.
