Right, maybe I am just stupid (a possibility that would shock no one) but why in the world is "Ally: Knocked Out" not an option in the presets? The first thing I went to set for Wynne's  was behavior was to cast revival if a party member bought it in a fight and there was no option.  Perhaps there is some other way to establish this behavior but if there is, it certainly is not obvious. It just seems incredibly peculiar. I cannot think of any gameplay reason to leave it out. (revival has a nasty recharge time, so it can't be repeatable used in a way that undermines the combat mechanics) It is also hard for me to imagine that nobody would have thought of it when the tactics were developed. You would have to have never even seen a rpg before to not realize that a player is going to want to bring back a team mate who is taken out of a fight.

If anybody knows why the option doesn't exist, or a way to make it work with the options that do exist I would really like to know.

Bleh, I've manually casted it myself and for some reason I can't get it to revive my fallen members. The ones that are alive highlight green but the dead ones don't.

Oh, I can cast it manually without problem. Well, except that you are correct that the dead party members do not highlight. The spell still revives them despite them not being lit, but since many fights are clusters it can be hard to find your fallen members since the color pallet of the game characters and back rounds seems to begin and end with brown (hurrah for "realism") and half a dozen enemies may be standing on top of them.
