B.
I don't trust EA but we'll see.
Bioware has been indoctrinated(lost/dead) by rEApers since ME2 imo.
Where does Bioware stand with you now, after the extended cut?

Dont care, they still make some of the better games out there. ME3 has a crappy ending, so what, they are humans not storytelling gods (although...). I will buy all ME3 DLC and DA3, coz even if they messed DA2 (everything is messed up) and ME3' ending they were still good games. EC or no they still get a A in my book. (Still think EC was unneccesary tho)

A firm D, how anyone can see the EC and bump up to a B is just horrifying and proves a company can save face by making glowing green babies, it's like if someone sold you a car that caught on fire then instead of fixing the car they explained why if caught fire and bought you a cup of coffee, you're supposed to forgive and forget and be all praise and continue purchasing from them and recomending them to friends? F that, I'm not a sheep and I'm not fooled by smoke and mirrors.

I play Bioware games for their characters...you have to agree their characters are always excellent.

I'm still going to buy DA3, but i'm really sceptical on what might happen.. The other day I heard TotalBiscuit talk about indie developers using up to 5 years developing a game, and I can't help but think that some of the big studios like BioWare could learn from that, taking their time perfecting a game instead of releasing something that's only halfway complete.

I missed this the first time around.
I'm fluctuating between a B and a C, and even at times have contemplated D, and have been since the game released. I am no longer pre-ordering BioWare games, due to being stupid enough to pre-order ME3 after the fiasco that was my DA2 pre-order.
I say this as someone who has been called by her friends for years the High Priestess of BioWare, due to my joking about having an altar to them and professing the greatness of their games to everyone. The EC hasn't changed my opinion at all, as the EC still does not have an ending I'm happy with.
(Note: I didn't need a Disney-perfect ending, I just wanted everything I fought for to succeed. I would have gladly given my character's life for that to be so, but I won't give the lives of EDI & the Geth (Destruction), I won't do what I just convinced TIM to kill himself over attempting (Control), I won't sacrifice every race in the galaxy (because that's what Synthesis is), and I don't want to just give up (Refusal). So, my game ends in conversation with the Catalyst, because none of the endings are what I have fought for over the course of all 3 games.)

D - even after (or especially due to) the extended cut
There's still a lack of closure with Sheaprd's future uncertain. There are far too many things unexplained which I find unacceptable in a RPG trilogy.
The only thing I could see myself buying would be a new Baldur's Gate. But even then, I'd watch reviews before wasting any more time, money and emotion on Bioware games.

I can't really say. I'd like to think lessons were learned, on both sides so this won't happen again.
Probably a C.

I'm really not convinced the EC could've (or did) change any opinions regarding the end of the game in any significant fashion. I was not sure Bioware should've put the effort in, or perhaps it's just I would've preferred them to put effort elsewhere.
So yes, I'm at around 'C'. ME1 and DAO were fantastic. I did preorder and ME2 and got burned there. I also preordered ME3, but that was strangely enough for the multiplayer which I actually like, so I wasn't disappointed in that sense. That said, almost no companies get preorders from me. I think the only two are Bioware and CD Projekt Red, and the latter is sometimes just out of goodwill, really.

C- to a D... the EC convinced me of nothing. Most, no all of what was in the EC could have and should have been in the main game and then some. Plus were not even going to get on how poorly executed the Catalyst and the Crucible are.

Next Bioware project:
http://www.commandan...id/cncgenerals2

I guess it will be 'B' cuz I really liked the 1st C&C General...
But Bioware lost it's way... And so Pre-Order will never be an option anymore... Of anything from EA, for that matters...

Mass effect is one of my favorite franchises and i am not going to change my opinion of it or Bioware due to the quality in the ending not being on par with the rest of the series. I was a B before and am still a B.

C.
I will buy all the installments of DA universe they'll throw at us. Also a new Mass Effect, if there's one to be. I am not about to let myself not get to the end of a story. But I will most definitely not buy any new universe that'll come out of BioWare. I'ts not worth emerging myself into an epic story to be disappointed witch each new installment.
And definitely no DLC, no matter how good they are.
