All of these upgrades to B just remind you that people are fickle and sheepish, let's just forget about the horrible PR or BW going into seige mode for 3 months, lets forget that the endings are still largely the same giant turd but now with sprinkles, I guess some people will eat the same **** you served them last week as long as you make it look prettier and explain to them why they were fed **** in the first place.

Are you reading my mind? Because this is exactly how I feel. Polished turd is still a turd.

Honestly each time i read a thread i find it increasingly difficult to resist providing definitions for the words; opinion, subjective and change.

In answer to OPs question.

It doesn't really effect me, i only do something if i really want to do it. So even if a future DLC gets rubbish reviews condemning it to hell i'll still get it if i want it enough and alternatively no matter how much hype or good press something gets i wont get it if i don't want it. Examples for the latter - Halo4, any CoD game past modernwarfare1. Don't give a sh*t.

My opinion is my own and is formed accordingly.

Updated.

D has seen an 9% drop. Extended Cut really did help it seems.

Funny, few minutes of slideshow + giant middle finger (refusal ending), and many people are willing to give their money to EAware again, and forget all the lies and insults. How quickly they forget.

C-

I don't trust EA enough to give them $20-50+ anymore; forgot to add, I despise Origin...the ultimate pun in the gaming industry.

I'm at C. It wasn't ME3 that made me not want to pre-order; it was DA2.

I was at and still remain at C.

The EC was nowhere near enough for a B.

Was about to start typing out the exact same thing.

In terms of Dragon Age 3, it's C.  But that's not because of Mass Effect 3.

I'm still on-board for a new Mass Effect game, but not blindly.  It'll depend on the tone and direction they take.

I'm at E.

E: Not going to buy anything related to BioWare and trying to convince my friends to not buy anything from BioWare too.

Okay, that was a joke. I'm honestly quite apathetic about BioWare right now. I don't hate them, but I don't care much for them either. I don't know whether I'll buy their future games or not. It depends on whether they've learned from their mistakes or not.

B. I'm holding out for DA3, but I'm scanning those reviews thoroughly when they break out. Though out of respect for Bioware's past work, I'll assume EA is chiefly responsible for these shenanigans.

--- At the current juncture, if a BioWare game were announced that I thought sounded interesting, I would consider buying it. I would not pre-order, I would not collector edition. I am not interested in Dragon Age 3 since Dragon Age 2 was a complete retardation of the concepts that I liked from DA:Origins.

So, Choice C, but I don't trust any reviewers, so I'd only go on friend reccommendation.

B

No matter how disappointed I am with one game I will still buy Bioware games due to the stories, interaction with teammates and the inclusion of female playable characters.  I have tried to find other games that I enjoy as much as ME or DA but I haven’t found any yet.  Skyrim which I played twice was fun but the story and interaction was lacking for me.

I’ve played each of the Mass Effect games at least 6 times each and have played both of the Dragon Age games over 10 times each.

Was I happy with everything in all of the games?  No but I can’t find another game designer that makes games that appeal to me like Bioware does.

they've lost me as a customer. i don't give greedy, arrogant companies time of day. the ec was a wasted effort in my view. they should had been honest and said ea got involved. that one admittance would have stopped all this.

Before March, I was an A, without hesitation. After March, very strongly a B, and even then the game has to really prove a change in the mentality Bioware displays in developing their games. Its a shame because now there can be no more surprises for me like the Virmire Choice or Shepard's Death in ME2 or the fact that Jack is a woman. I got all of these amazing surprises that enhanced my experience because I avoided all spoilers and knew nothing going into the games. Now I'll have to check every aspect of the plot before investing in a Bioware title again and can never be as mind-blown as when I found out I was Revan.

A: I'm still going to pre-order their games.
B: Wait and see, and only buy it from reviewers that I trust or friends recommendations.
C: I'll wait until it's on discount or buy it used.
D: I'm not going to buy any of their games at all. Might rent/borrow it from a store/friend.

I'm somewhere between C and D, but leaning more towards D.

ME3 is just one of the latest in a line of issues which show BioWare is completely beholden to EA rather than the BioWare of old.

DA2: Lies and terrible treatment of the community only to turn around and admit, later, that the community was right. TOR: Lies and terrible treatment of the community. More lies. Terrible mismanagement of game assets. Outright ignoring bug reports on PTS even after asking for them. ME3: Lies and terrible treatment of the community through PR proxies. Attempts to save face with more lies.

It makes me sad to admit that BioWare is not the same company that they once were. Now a profit arm of EA, they're just going to milk Dragon Age and Mass Effect until it's no longer profitable while also working on side projects for EA here and there (see: Command & Conquer).

Will I buy any of their games again? Perhaps, but it would be used so they're not getting any money from the sale. It's more likely I'll just put future BioWare titles in my Gamefly queue instead.

I combination of C and B, listed intentionally in that order because I lean more towards C but could be persuaded with enough fan praise. This forum is a good means to judge future content as many of us tend to be the most critical. That said, DA3 is definitely a later on purchase or perhaps borrowed from a friend. BioWare has a lot of work to do before I trust them again.

bioware is great. has been great. and always will be great. most of their whiny backstabbing fan base on the other hand tends to ****** me off with their unreasonable attitudes.

I second Uber GeekZilla. I understood the outrage a little before the EC. I was pretty disappointed myself. But now people have no reason to complain they just continue to do so because ranting about the ME ending has become "argument of the week". The smell of dev blood has brought trolls and narrow minded/self entitled asses out from all corners of teh internets. Don't get me wrong I enjoy debating the endings and now with the EC there is SO MUCH to debate. But most critics just spout terms like "plot whole" "starbrat" etc because that's the current bandwagon that is fashionable to jump on.

Oh and definateley B

I am at E as well (except substitute the name EA for Bioware), and unlike the Heretic_Hanar, I am NOT joking. So far as I'm concerned, EA is a cancer on gaming and has brought the Bioware I loved to the brink of death. What little one person can do to help destroy EA, I am doing.

If I absolutely MUST pick one of the four options given, then D.

The same place I left them for the last ten years. Behind Bethesda, Obsidian, and FROM Software. After the disaster that was ACV, I pushed them up infront of From Software though.
