D if they continue with the dodgy business side of things, like day 1 DLC and Riccitello's grand plan for microtransactions. I could write off the ending as a mistake and move on, but think it is tied into bigger problems that affacte all development teams.

If that changes, I'd go with B, although trustworthy reviewers are few these days and there's no guarantee a good one will stay that way. Not looking good long term on that front.

They stand as a shadow of their former glory, as just another interesting smaller company assimilated into the blandly homogeneous mass that is EA.

I'm somewhere between C and D I think. It would have to be a hell of a game for me to buy another of theirs, and even then I'd wait until after it's released so I can find out if it is actually anything like they said it would be.

Call me a cynic, but after all their doublespeak and half-truths in marketing ME3 I don't trust them to sell something on its own merits anymore.

There's no 'make up my own mind' option, so I kinda can't answer.

As for where they're at? Bit of a setback with DA2 and ME3's ending, but they will recover and get back to where they need to be.

Honestly OP?

Mass Effect was my favorite series, and now I could care less about it. I actually hope someone somewhere releases another IP that I get in to. This one is done. A great book with a bad ending is a bad book imo.

I'll probably still play BioWare's new releases. But I'll also probably just play a friend's copy or pirate it.

It's a shame how EA just rapes good studios.

To be honest, the Command and Conquer game is the one I'm most likely to buy - the one I have the least investment in.

Why buy the game I have the least investment in? 'cause I won't care so much when Bioware inevitably f***s it up.

I'm not. The ME3 ending sucked balls, and Bioware's handling of ME3, the ending, and the fiasco that followed has told us they really DGAF about us. Why would we buy something that we know we will be disappointed by, and that will not be fixed?

D, and I doubt that will ever change. ME3 was a disappointment through and through, just like DA2. And TOR exists at all. They've somehow completely pissed on three great franchises in a row. I'm done with them.
