I'm not finding any solutions ANYWHERE using Google, and forum search is obviously wonky, so...
I'm having trouble exporting my custom head morph to use on an NPC I'll be using for my mod. I set export .mop to True and selected 'Post to Local'. I opened up my Creature file and fished around in the window that comes up when I click on the ... button beside the 'Head Morph' option.
Nothing.
I saved the file as sere.mrh and it exported as hm_sere.mop. It exported to \\Dragon Age\\AddIns\\SR_module\\core\\override\\toolsetexport .
What am I doing wrong?
Head morph help?

hrm head morphs are .mor's when "posted to local" from what I've dabbled in, I've not used .mops but mebe you need both files.
Edit: well that doesn't make any sense, I think they'd both be in that directory anyway....hopefully someone with sense can help you!

From what I've seen making new presets and modifying NPC heads, .mop is used for presets, and .mor is used for NPC's. You probably do need to save it as a .mor, although from there, I'm not sure about how you'd attach it to a particular NPC. Hopefully that gives you a direction to start if someone with more experience doesn't chime in.

If you're using it for a custom NPC made with New-->Creature, you want "Export .mop" set to False.
This way it will export as a .mor, and by default the toolset will place it in Dragon Age\\\\Addins\\\\[your module name]\\\\core\\\\override\\\\toolsetexport.
Then, when you create or edit your NPC, you should be able to see it among the choices when you choose a Head Morph as hm_[yourfilename].mor
EDIT: I just did this again to make sure I'm telling you the correct steps, and it definitely works!

Did you check it in? After you click "post to local" the menu options change. One of them is "Check In". After you do that, you should have the option to select your new head when you click on the Head Morph button of your new creature.
