Sorry i qualify - without rocketing spawns, spamming consumables, a 100% optimised group, and without having a team actually aiming for a 16 minute clear

IE a normal/relaxed/pub/non-time-focused pug wont be able to do it repeatedly.

It's the perfect setup, I think, if the sniper rifle can penetrate the floor (I haven't really looked). But being able to see the mobs below and having a widow or black widow or javelin seems like a fun combination there.

I do it all the time with my GI, shooting through the floor in Dagger and even in glacier I shoot through the glass. Also on Condor I stood perched in the middle area sniping through the wall. With my BW its fun getting headshots through cover with my GI's huntermode.

Yah. Dagger and Glacier is much much quicker than FBW.

FBW with random players takes 30+ minutes. 28 if you are lucky.

Dagger and Glacier takes 20 minutes.

No need to rocket spawn or spam consumables or even aim for it. You don't even need a fully optimised speed clear group like Drell Adept/Human Vanguard and support. We've managed a 17 minute relaxed run with a couple of SIs, a Human Soldier, and a Human Engineer on Cerberus Dagger, could easily have made it 16 without resorting to the aforementiooned tactics if we'd focused a little more.

Once you get used to playing with a group of players who know exactly what they're doing, you can clear maps really quickly. Our average run time is 20-22 minutes when we're not trying, we dip below that often when we focus.

Point being: you can play any map/set-up and clear as fast as FBW once you learn how to compliment each other's playstyles. It's much more fun with a little variety.

I do agree though, FBWG is the only way for many inexperienced players/newbies to clear that quickly and there's nothing wrong with it, imo. It's a good introduction to Gold and allows people to compete in events who wouldn't usually be able.
