OK, first off, thanks for the build. Tried out the Hornet build and loved it.
But today I was blessed with a Hurricane I and decided to give it a go on the Turian Soldier.

HOLY CRAP! There should be a law against having this much fun! 

I took him into bronze by myself just to screw around, and ended up soloing the match with ease. So I took him into public silver for two games and scored first both times with almost double second place's score. Even on silver the Atlas's were melting. So I stepped him up to public gold for three games and ended up first or close second on all of them.

There is hardly any recoil with the Turian Soldier and what little there is can be completely negated with a stabilization mod. I used the extended barrel and the heat sink usually with AP ammo. With just the hurricane equipped, I had +185% cool down.

I did occasionally run out of ammo, but with ammo boxes everywhere, it was never a bad problem.

All in all, I had a blast with the Turian Soldier and the Hurricane.  Can't wait for my next match.

I have to agree, the Hurricane can be almost like a laser in the Turian Soldier's hands when using Marksman, the damage is pretty ridiculous.

does the turian soldier also handles well armored targets with just a SMG?
i have a hornet II and i'm afraid it won't be able to take down armored enemies because of the lack of the penetration module
How could i mod it so i can get best of the gun?
i've just created a turian soldier and so far i've been using a phaeston X (modded for penetration and magazine size) with good results on bronze and silver matches
