I'm not sure if this is intentional but I bought the collectors edition game and I should have gotten the N7 weapons to unlock but they are not unlocking in the multiplayer. These are promotional items that I should have gotten unlocked on day 1 when I input my codes. I get them in my single player game but not in my multiplayer game. What gives?

The N7 weapons are only unlockable through Commendation Packs in Multiplayer. Commendations Packs can be unlocked for participating in MP Challenge Weekends (such as this weekends "Operation Excorcist") but otherwise they are strictly single-player only. Same goes for all pre-order DLC weapons.
