One of the worst fast food meals I've ever had was at KFC - I ordered one of those... chicken tender thing-a-ma-jig combos (I can't remember what they're called, nor do I wish to). Not even a half a minute after I ordered, they brought the meal out. I knew it was going to be reheated, stale garbage, but I tried to choke it down anyway.
Big mistake.
I took one bite of the chicken, ate one potato wedge - s*** was so stale, and it was barely even warm. I ended up just throwing it all out and leaving - I'll never eat at KFC again after that.
Also, those Double Downs are disgusting - you might as well just drink grease out of a bucket, as it's pretty much the same thing.

It is not only their questionable HCCP standards,but how they source their meat,especially chicken...although that is probably true for other fast-food chains.
I have not eaten in such a joint for nearly 5 years,as I can cook a smashing korma or whatever for me and my hubby for that money,and at least we know what we eat.(If I mess up,he can always say "kOrma is a b*tch" hehe).We can go and spend our money on other things. Booze,like..lol.

You'd be wrong. I've got a book with nutritional information on the menu items of most food chains in America. The simple fact that it's two pieces of chicken with some cheese in between knocks it above, say, a Whopper.

All fastfood chains use an undisclosed amount of additives in their food FDA even allows all fast food chains to have a 20% margin of error in the disclosure of nutritional facts of all items on their menu. 40 grams of sugars could be 60, if they say something has 1000 calories in it could be 1200 and so on. Also the human body isn't great at metabolising dairy or complex carbs, so anything with cheese or bread takes a toll on the human digestive system.
In short, if you buy food from any place with a commercial, a drive-thru or a mascot of any kind you're always taking a gamble in terms of what you're eating.
