Hey there,
It seems that there is a bug about syncing progress into the databse or whatever they are stored in.

I collected 60k to buy Spectre Pack, and when I hit the store I couldnt buy it. A message said if the error keeps displaying, I should ask customer services to solve it. But before doing that, I restarted my game to update sync files and whatever the error is. So, now I realise that I have lost half of my credits, and no Spectre pack in my inventory. It seems like game didn't sync my progress while playing a few games, now it reloaded the most recent sync from the server. It wasn't about my internet connection since I played without any lag, so connection to host was perfect. Why not to EA servers (unless it is server-related issue)

Anyway, is it a bug or is it related something not related to bioware and ea servers?
It is no big deal, but is it possible to get my credits back? I am pretty sure I will get that Widow this time -_-

Thanks for the help!

I've had that problem before, I purchased the pack, and I got the message then instantly got my creds back. However, when I came back to the game later the credits were missing and I never got them back. :-( Though I was just glad it was only 60 K and it hasn't happened again since. Some people loose gosh awfully large amounts of creds. :-/

Yeah, I feel lucky since I only lost 30k but someday it might be worse.
So, it seems like a bug then. Hope it can be fixed. I will try to get my 30k back by playing and will try that Spectre pack again. If same thing happens again it might be related to account. Maybe sync issue, maybe account table issue in database. I will write down what happens.

Hope it helps developers

Maybe I should try to become an intern as a developer instead of a cg artist in game developement lol

I just logged into the game and it seems like I have purchased a Spectre pack.
All my credits are taken, and I had a random Spectre pack purchased.
Maybe developers gave me the pack, maybe a magic happened. I really don't know
Just wanted to let them know =)

Thanks!

Same thing happened again today, with brand new 60K creds :/
This issue is new I think, wasn't happening before 3 days.
Now two times in a row!

This is such an annoying problem and it keeps reoccuring. My friends and I have even lost real money that we had paid for these packs! We have tried contacting BioWare and have had no luck in resolving this. I am thinking that the only way that this will be resolved is to pursue this with the Playstation Network and then possibly legal action if nothing is achieved by contacting them. They both seem to be pointing the finger at each other. Disappointing to say the least!

Have you guys checked your inventory afterwards and noticed sudden, new things you did not have before?

Because that's what happens to me every time I have this error.

I'll experience the same things you do: go to buy a Spectre Pack, store "thinks" about it for a while, then I get the error message. My credits drain by 60,000 then immediately go back up to the level they were before the attempted purchase. Usually, when I get a store error, I can't get into any matches or create any matches either (get a network connection error message).

I then will quit the game entirely, then reload the game.

Once back on, first thing I notice is my credits really DID drop by 60,000. And I think, "Great, they took my money but gave me no pack!" But when I go into my inventory to look at weapons/equipment/characters, I have "NEW" flashing in some places. Upon further investigation, I actually DID receive my items... I just have to hunt around for them.

Great example is this happened to me last night. When I reloaded and looked at my stuff, I suddenly had an Asari Adept Justicar I never had before. Image IPB The only thing I missed was the store screen that shows you what you just got from the pack you purchased. Which is annoying, but as long as I get my stuff, I don't care.

I'm surprised there isn't a bigger thread for the PS3 like the PC Tech support (over 48 pages). I've lost over 315K credit from this error and it's extremely frustrating to login in over an hour a day and lose all the credits earned. It's a complete waste of time.

I even started buying a "recruit pack" to see if the transaction went thru, followed by a spectre. Guess what? I got the error on the SPECTRE pack!!!

Not at all. I've had this error multiple times across all packs and I keep tabs on my inventory. No equipment, character, or weapon changes. Just lost credits.

Once this error occurs, I can't play MP at all. It's pretty bad. I was in a full game lobby and triggered the error then all 3 players dropped moments after. I have to reload the game. Once reloaded, the credits are gone. No change to the aforementioned.

In the other threads, some people mentioned calling EA support with success instead of the online automated (bot) customer service.

I would be furious if I paid $ for the packs. Time is just as valuable. I've lost days worth of gameplay for nothing. All signs point to EA ignoring your request and no immediate solutions. This error started at on release date and was never fixed properly.
