Hey all.

I'm currently replaying the whole Mass Effect Trilogy to get a saved character file with my own "perfect" settings in preparation for the Extended Cut DLC of Mass Effect 3, since in my original canon playthrough I screwed a little here and there.

The thing is that of all of ME trilogy DLC, I'm only missing Lair of the Shadow Broker, and the question I have is, knowing that I dislike Liara in general as character, is this DLC worth getting? Are the story/quests/rewards any good? Does it impact in any way in Mass Effect 3? Again, keep in mind I don't like Liara and she's never in my "main team", as well as I develop little to nothing the interaction possibilities with her (I pretty much ignore she exists).

Several weapon upgrades, some interesting background material and some interesting fights. It doesn't have much influence on ME3 but is good value for money fun wise.

Let me tell you.
I never particularly liked Liara, and had even less reason after she screwed up my ME1 canon PT by ninjamance and forced me to start over half-way through...man was I pissed. ><
she was always my least favorite ME1 character for the last 3 years... (disclaimer: she's finally grown on me, but that's another story for another thread.)

LotSB is THE BEST DLC I've EVER played.
Get it YESTERDAY. It is awesome! And it will make you like Liara more!

Heh, it's funny you mention that since my ME1 playthrough I actually got ninjamanced by Ashley. I was just being nice to her and then she shows up with the "let's spend the night together" cliche, I rejected her and sent her to have a cold shower and still I got her picture in my cabin in ME2 for some reason.

Just hoping there is no harm done in the long run, because I don't feel at all like redoing half of ME1 >_< (I bet you can guess who's my canon LI!).

About Liara, I don't know, I just seem to find every other Asari I come across more mature, interesting and compelling than her. Sha'ira, Shiala, Aria, even Morinth are tenfold more interesting to talk to and don't make you feel like they're sentimental kids. But it's all about tastes, can't say other people have bad tastes, Liara is just not made for mine.

Once you finish the Shadow Broker dlc you can also revisit the ship for new upgrades or to reassign the char build of your squadmates for 1000 eezero each time you use it, plus other cool things.
