I like the endings. Now let's see if we can get through this forum without me being told how my children are going to die, I'm the next Hitler, and you're all going to come to my house and burn me alive. (The point to this forum is that while people who disliked the endings say they feel alienated, what they don't realize is that they themselves are committing the exact same crime by trying to bully people who do like the ending.)

Never seen anything like you described. People who liked the ending didn't get it or didn't play ME1 + 2 - that's my opinion but not offensive. What you describe is worth banning someone from the boards.

So report those people, case closed. They are the minority.

I dont think you have any reason to apologize for. A lot of those people assume a lot and are pretty absurd.

And this is my problem with anti-enders, it eventually comes down to "Oh, you like the ending, you must be intellectually inferior and aren't a true fan of Mass Effect." 

Which is rubbish, different strokes for different folks. I'm neither pro or anti, I didn't enjoy it, but I'm not going to accuse someone of intellectual inferiority just because they liked an ending to a video game.

And to King of the Evil Crabs: I appreciated how grueling the final choice was and how overwhelming and unexpected it all became. Also, to just clear up an issue, if you choose Control with a high enough EMS the relays are damaged but survive (Learned on ME wiki) That way the galaxy doesn't explode.

The problem is that in the pro-ending posts that turn in to flame wars at keeps getting bumped to the top of the forum the OP assumes a very aggressive approach and goes on about "you just don't understand". "You are a bunch of whiners". "Artistic Integrity". "You are childish and want a disney ending" and so on and so forth.

And the threads where the OP is calm and writes a very reasonable post explaining why he did like the ending doesn't get the same attention and quickly drowns amongst all the new topics that is created all the time.


I think that is why it looks like that if you like the ending you are the spawn of satan.

And then there is of course the few people that just can't accept that someone does in fact like the ending =)

Sorry but people being mean on the internet? Really? If that "breaks your heart" this probably isn't the place for you. Everyone has pretty passionate feelings on this, so aggressive arguments are bound to turn up. Report those who go too far, otherwise get over it.
