But this may not be the best way of expressing that opinion.

I agree that the expressed dissapointment with the endings has been waaaaaaaay overdone. This idea that some people have that the entire series is ruined because of the final 30 minutes is ridiculous. What, you didn't enjoy the dozens of hours playing the game up to that point?
See, I can understand the sentiment of which you speak, and somewhat agree with it.
The ending made the Collectors/ME2 seem a bit silly/pointless, made me wonder why the Reapers had designed the Citadel so that the Catalyst couldn't activate it itself (ME1), and stripped the Reapers of their mysterious menace and superiority by making them slaves to a silly purpose, instead of an ancient incomprehensible superior race. And now, if you hated the ending, you know you're ultimately putting hours of effort into achieving something you have no real desire to achieve, and know that you will ultimately get the exact same outcome. In particular, two of the seemingly major decisions you had to make before (Save/Destroy the Rachni Queen, Collector base) now boil down to no difference outside of 100 or so GAW points, and do not affect gameplay. And yet they'd felt truly momentous and important when you made them. Now they do not.

I totally get the dissapointment and the potential lack of interest in replaying the game, especially given the amount of time you've put in prior to the end. What I think takes it too far is when people act like the ending totally invalidates all the fun they had playing those 100+ hours.

I do apologize for this. I'm just very weary of having to defend my love for the series. People just assume that because I liked the endings I must be a COD player who's never played ME before. It's extremely heartbreaking.
i feel you on this. im sick of people saying i never played the other games or i just did a speed run on casual. let me tell you something i have played me1 6 times, me2 13 times and i still like the ending. im not in love with it and it could have been better but its not as bad as people say it is and it didnt ruin the series. so people should just remember that just because someone liked the ending doesnt mean they never played the other two games or that they just dont get it. being in the minority doesnt mean being wrong or stupid.

If anonymous people not liking you liking the endings breaks your heart to the extreme, then you really should seek some help.
Also, like all of the "I AM NEVER GOING TO BUY BIOWARE GAMES BECAUSE OF THE ENDING OF MASS EFFECT 3!1!!oNE!!" threads, this thread serves no purpose other than to try to draw attention to yourself. It worked so congratulations are in order, I suppose.

They ruined all 3 games because in the end nothing you did mattered, all the playing and replaying me1 or me2 to get different results in me3 was just wasted time.

OP is trolling folks. Enter forums stating unpopular opinion then saying how he lost respect for the community before he even gets a response. Poke poke the troll wants to be fed

It gets old. Having people assume you will do to them what others have done. Really old.
Incidentally, where did that goofy face meme come from? I've gathered from context its meaning but I have no idea on its origin.
