So far, everyone has. I hope you can understand and appreciate that all those "explanations" are simply opinion, formed by a differing perspective.

But that is the thing, no one has. They say they like it, which is fine by me....but I want to know what moved you about the ending. I can say that the orchestral pieces during the endings were amazing...but the visuals and the story did not deliver as well as the music. The scenes between Shepard and Anderson were amazing...but did not make sense in the context of the entire ending.

This is what I'm looking for...but no pro-ender has provided anything like this and instead has given me an "I like the ending" and  "You will force BW to break their artistic integrity"

Seriously, I want an honest dialogue. I'm not saying that my explanations are "fact" but rather, they are justifications for me not liking it. I want to hear these justifications from pro-enders as well.

CStGW.. One thing you must understand is that its our love for the series that sent a ton of us into such a frenzy to start with (again, not speaking for everyone.. just extrapolation).. I, personally, cannot stand the ending and saw my favorite series destroyed in my eyes.. Of course you are allowed your opinion on the ending and its sad that any of us has to be attacked for any reason.. You get weary of being griped at for liking the ending, and I and others get tired of being looked down on as "entitled whiners"..

The community has a lot of stable, polite voices trying desperately to save what they love.. But, as this is the internet, there are an equal (if not greater) number of angry discontented voices who will lash out at anything perceived as an enemy to their belief/cause..

OP, you have to understand that ever since the ending came out, this board has been nothing but one steaming hurricane of butthurt. I didn't join until after ME3 was released, so I wouldn't really know, but I'm operating on the assumption that it was different before.

If you truely loved ME, then why are you against different endings for people who can't stand the current ones?

Oh wait, you're a "loyal fan" and I'm not because I don't like the endings for so many different reasons that have all been said before at some point. Loyal doesn't mean buttkissing when the company drops the ball. Being loyal is giving them the chance to fix it.

If you like the endings, then you obviously don't mind glaring plot holes and inexplicable leaps in logic, to say nothing of the more subjective aspects.

If that's the case, then fine. If not, then I question your intelligence. It's simple.

Never seen anything like you described. People who liked the ending didn't get it or didn't play ME1 + 2 - that's my opinion but not offensive. What you describe is worth banning someone from the boards.

I like the endings and have 100% Achievements over the entire trilogy, also completed ME3 twice with 2 different characters.

What annoys me most is IDT people trying to force the Genocide option on everyone.

Your children are going to die. In all liklihood having nothing to do with your opionion on good storytelling. Hell, my children are going to die. All things end.

You cannot be the next Hitler and like the endings. Hitler didn't like the endings.. So you're safe from Godwin's Law.

I'd never burn you alive. I prefer my meat rare.

So enjoy your ending, I assure you no one really cares and if they do do anything that you say then two things to remember:

1. You don't know them ergo they do not matter.
2. By responding as you have, anyone who might behave in the manner you've described, have already won.

Did you like ME2? How did Joker with his brittle bones repair the normandy on his own after it crash landed on the collector base? Nothing in the ME3 ending is as glaringly bad as that.

Generalizations. Yes, both sides have idiots who like to rage and insult people who don't agree. Welcome to the internet.

For the most part however, I think you'll find that if you want to engage in a thoughtful debate, you'll have plenty of takers willing to provide reasoned arguments rather than insults. But when you make a post like this, with lots of hyperbole and little actual content, you're going to attract the ragers like flies. So, enjoy that.
