Hi all,
I wonder if all the slow downs might be because of anit virus softwares that dont jive well with dragon age.
Can anyone test this theory and report their findings...
shut down their antivirus systems and play
play with anti virus on...
lets see if it makes a difference....
who is running an antivirus program while playing?

Define "slow downs"?
I'm using NIS 2010 on all the machines here and I've never had a problem with the game slowing down.
Increasing load times, yes, but that's another matter entirely, aka "Memory Leak".

I use Trend Micro and it doesn't matter one iota whether or not I have it on or disable it. The game still plays the same. Ever since I ditched my ATI HD card and installed a GTX275 most of my issues dissolved immediately. However, there are several times when I zone that I am stuck loading for 3-4 minutes at a time. of course it's worse after playing for a few hours.
